Advantages Advantages Size (if you are female!), good looking, good features, free on a contract

Disadvantages Disadvantages Size (if you are male!), difficult to turn on and off, creaky!

My last phone was an Ericsson, and to be honest if I had been offered a decent enough deal on another, I would have stuck with Ericsson. Don’t get me wrong, I have used Nokia phones in the past and have been reasonably happy with them, I just prefer the build quality and menu system that Ericsson use. But anyway, I am now the owner of an 8210 – not really by choice, but by deal (I was offered freebies!). What do I think of my phone? First and foremost, call me sexist if you like (and I will probably upset a few male owners) but I really think this is a phone for females. Why do I ... more

Advantages Advantages small, lots of functions

    Disadvantages Disadvantages keys small

The Nokia 8210 is currently one of the smallest Nokia handsets. Actually there are not many phones at all that are smaller than it.The phone is so compact that it fits in the palm of your hand and is incerdibly light. It is the type of phone you could have in your hand all day and not realise that it is there. The keys on the phone are compacted into a space that is about an inch high and about an inch and a half wide.So obviously the keys are small. This is no problem for me as my fingers are small but for anyone with bigger hands it could be a problem. Especially for men, when my boyfriend ... more

    Advantages Advantages It's a phone.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Breaks easily. Should be coated with an inch of rubber.

This is a nice little phone. Until the evil inside breaks out ... It's only about 3 or 4 inches long, and 1.5 wide, and it is also very light, which means it's easy to 'lose' in a pocket or bag: I had many near heart attacks when it was new, and it couldn't be found for ten minutes, and would then turn up. The size means the buttons are very small, and while I don't really have a problem with them, people borrowing my phone complain. You can get lots of covers for this phone: mine include icky mint green, Pink Panther (much admired), Budweiser and a strange psychedelic pattern. Unfortunately I ... more

Advantages Advantages Small, Lightweight, Easy To Use And Customise

Disadvantages Disadvantages Keypad May be Too Small For large Fingers

I’ve had my Nokia 8210 since early this year and as usual I never bothered to read the instructions. My efforts at mastering modern technology normally consist of asking the hubby how to do something (he’s not any cleverer than me, it’s just that I’m lazy!). I get him to read the instructions and then tell me, at least once. How do I write an op about my little phone without going through the boring task of fixing my eyes on the ‘how to’ leaflet? Well, I’m probably going to have to aren’t I? I will leave it as long as I possibly can though; the reason being is that I’ll tell you first of all ... more

Advantages Advantages Cute, lightweight with excellent features.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Light, robust, stylish phone that is streets ahead of anything else on the market - no suprise to find out that 90% of the mobile phone shop managers have this one, I was lucky in getting mine for free after badgering 1-2-1 for some 'help' for an upgrade to my now dated 5146 Nokia which was really bulky and heavy in comparison. This mobile like all the Nokias is built to last and looks cool but most importantly its features go on and on, I am very pleased with the many new and different features on it, for me the most appealing attributes are: Its weight & size: 79g & 101.5x44.5x17.4mm.Its ... more
