I got this phone back in 2003 so I've had it for long enough to review.
Well then .... where to start?
~Features~ FM Radio, WAP / GPRS, Games, Infrared, Calculator, Calendar.
The FM radio on this is easily workable. It allows for 20 presets which is generous. The only real drawback is that the aerial is the wire from the phone to the earpiece ... which normally means you have to have the wire hanging around outside your clothes -- I've broken a headset because of this when a wire got caught and totally broken.
Saying this, the normal radio headset (Nokia Dual Headset HDD-1) is great since it not only allows for full radio listening in both ears but you can use it for calls therefore utilising both earpieces which makes for a better conversation. If you want simplicity or style then use the Nokia Boom Headset HDB-5 -- although it only has one earpiece ... at least it'll stay in place.
The WAP / GPRS is great -- nice speeds and great usefulness. Can't complain about it.
Games are great on this phone; Snowboarding, Snakes 2, Bumper (Pinball) and Pairs 2. Again, no complaints about them. Since this phone has Infrared, you can link up to another phone with Snakes 2 and play against each other which is a good time-passer.
Just to coincide with the last paragraph...the Infrared is my next topic. A standard -- very simply to us Infrared port on this phone located on the side at the top of the phone (when looking at photo). Activation is as simple as selecting one of the main menu items then just connect.
Calculator is very simple to use and doesn't take much to learn. You can use the * (star) key to use the calculation signs or the # (hash) key for a decimal point. Extremely simple to use and it's the main one I'll use instead of my Nokia 6310i or my Siemens A62 which also have calculators.
Calendar is different compared to the one on the Nokia 6310i. Instead of a 'grid' of dates, each date is displayed on the screen day by day. Advantage is that you get little symbols indicating what, if anything, is taking place on that day.
Generally a great phone to use but it does have one small drawback.
I've seen a lot of other people with this phone actually putting their index and middle finger together on the aeriel located at the top back which Nokia suggest you don't do as this may cause the network signal to need more power therefore using up more battery life.
Anyway, if you need a phone for personal or business use then this one is perfect although you may find the cost a bit much but believe me when I say it's worth while!!

I've only just recently lost the keypad and I can't find my second one in my room.
I lost it at home and can't find it now....but I will eventually but I just can't find my other one now either :-(
