I bought my 8600 the first week it came out in July.
I have swap/exchange two of the 8600 luna before I got one without the fault on the case. Yes, that's right, I have seen two of the 8600 not been assemble properly and there were a very visible "GAPS" at where the connection socket on the phone.
SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE PHONE APPEARANCE (especially the connection socket part) BEFORE PURCHASE.
Nevertheless, the phone does look good and certainly provide an attraction to people around you. However, if you are an MAC user like me, you will find our Nokia has a very poor support on MacOS user. In addition ,this phone I bought in UK only support the language in the EU country. This really puts me down as many of my friends used to send me text message in Chinese. By using this phone, I can no longer read those Chinese text message.
The ringtone and the theme in this phone is also boring. As a MAC user, I can't change the ringtone/theme so easily.
Not to mention that y choosing this phone, you have to pay for very expansive plan to your service provider.
If I have to choose again, I will choose something else. (SE for example)
Sorry for the rating, but this just isn't a helpful review. It would be more helpful if you could give some details about the phone. Comments on ease of use, navigation menus, features (whether it has a camera, WAP capability, etc and whether those features are any good) would make it a more well-rounded review. You could also tell us whether the clarity and sound quality is any good when making calls so that prospective buyers can make an informed decision based on something more than looks and computer compatibility.
