Whether you think the issue of radiation is fact or fiction the truth is the effects are thus unknown. This prompted the australlians to study 28 handsets and see how much readiation per kilogram was absorbed into the human body. It found the Nokia 8850 to absorb the least with 0.22 watts per kilogram! With the Ericsson T28 a stangerring 6 time worse with 1.27!! So invest in more to recue the risk. The Nokia 8850 is he slickest phone on the market with everything you would expect from a nokia. The only issue that concerns me is that as of yet you cant purchase the handset on orange, for orange. However, a little word of advice to you orange users, it doesnt matter! If you can purchase one without a contact or for the sake of it buy a BT, Voda contract to get the 8850 your simcard (ornage that is) will still work in the phone. This is because it is unlocked (which means it will work on any of the networks!) Yay we can all cry! But if you dont want to purchase another contract or you simply cant my best advice is too look in the back of the loot in section 407 where the mobile phones are sold, second hand ones, likely to be ex company mobiles. So invest in your health and choose this sleak, easy to use, excecutive phone. In america they already have made it law for all mobiles to have the SAR emissions on all handsets (that is radiation absorbed by the human body per kilogramm) so why havent we?? Ummm something to lobby your MP about x

Interesting stugg about the SAR. Hoping to get this phone in the near future so good to know that it might be slightly healthier.

great, another person who thinks about health over fashion! (just the 8850 has both!) you will find actually that the 8850 has a SAR rating 11 times more than the Motorola 'Wings' flip phone V3682. I'm not sure which phone to buy??
