Nokia BH-800 Headset

Music while I work (out) with the Nokia BH-604 Headset

Advantages: good battery life, same charger as many nokia phone models, good sound
Disadvantages: a bit heavy, large

I had been looking for a pair of wireless stereo headphones for a while so I could use them with my mobile phone at the gym, and round the office. Not being tethered to something with a wire is obviously quite important for at the gym! Over the ear Bluetooth stereo headsets seem to be quite hard to find, so when this was on Amazon at a reasonable price, I leapt at the chance. I use this headset with my Nokia mobile phone which is the source of the music... Of course, you don't have to have a Nokia phone, just one that supports Bluetooth wireless headsets! The item arrived with a Nokia standard charger (the new size with the tiny connector), a protective cloth bag for the headphones, the headphones (obviously) and a printed manual. Nokia HS-4W Bluetooth Headset

Advantages: Easy to use and connect
Disadvantages: Other people can hear what you say

The best thing I found with the headset was how easy it was to connect to my phone (nokia 6230). The clarity whilst having conversations is great and the the way it fits onto my ear was confortable. If you have any problems using it, the manual provided has the answers. The biggest disadvantage of the headset is that other people can hear your conversation. The reason for this is that the headset can be used on your left or right ear, and has a speaker on each side. This is not so bad if you turn the volume setting to low. The headset can be charged using most nokia chargers and doesn't take too long to charge. The headset can also be used with more than one phone. I believe it was a good buy. I bought the headset to use whilst driving, and it does exactly what I expected. I can keep the phone in my pocket and answer any call ...

Review of Nokia HS 4W Headset

HS47 Nokia Headset - Not good enough

Advantages: good sound quality
Disadvantages: earphones have detached, wire has broken, sometimes doesn't function correctly

I had bought this headset for my Nokia phone a while ago. The main reason why I purchased these is so that I could listen to music from my phone. Altohugh this headset provided me with great quality sound, the earplugs or the wire themselves wern't too great at all. The first ever time I bought these, the actual earphones (the part which you put in your ear) detached from the wires after becoming too lose and eventually broke off. At first I thought this was most probably because I didn't look after them properly and just threw them anywhere and left them lying in various places. However, this wasn't the case. The second time I purchased the Nokia HS 47 headset, I looked after them. I didn't just leave them about anywhere, I carefully put them in a case so that they wouldn't mess up etc...
