Advantages great keyboard, cheap, easy to use

Disadvantages average camera

After losing a £140 touch screen Nokia phone whilst at university i started looking online for a reasonably priced phone that wouldn't be as painful to replace if I lost it!

I bought the C3-00 for roughly £50 at a phones4u store, it was on O2 and the transfer of my old number wasn't an issue.

The main reason for my love of this phone is the qwerty keyboard, the buttons are a decent size compared to a blackberry and make texting extremely easy.

One downside is how average the camera is, but this doesn't bother me personally.

Another pro of the phone is that like my old Nokia its menus are easy to navigate and it took no time at all to learn where everything is.

Next the calling quality.. to call it is simple, it is clear enough and has a satisfactory display. It has an also simple to use contact book and lets you save numbers that have been sent by text. Some phones are too complicated in adding contacts, the C3 lets you save the number and name simply first then if you need to later on you can add other personal information such as postal address, brithday reminder, nickname, formal name, company, job title and any notes you may need to attach. While in call there is a loudspeaker function which is one button away so there is no hassle.

Texting is easy as there is a shift button on the keyboard to allow capitals and a symbol button for adding any signs, grammar or faces you may wish to send. There is also a function button for the numbers and grammar. It is easy to send texts to multiple recepients from your contacts or to type a new number as well.

The phone also has a decent music player. With a 2gb card that comes with the phone I have no issue with how much music the phone can hold. Compared to my old phone the music player isn't as good and the quality is quite tinny but I wouldn't say it is a bad quality, it has a radio function as well but a wired headset is required to use it.

Finally this phone is also very durable, the amount of times I have dropped it is staggering!

So therefore if you're a big texter looking for a simple to use phone and don't want to break the bank this is the phone for you.
