I have always wanted a smart phone. Never had the courage to spend money and buy one. Received this as a gift and I started to cry!
It was beautiful to look at. It was not touch screen. It had a nice good sized qwerty keyboard. Wtih Email, GPRS, WiFi. All that I need in a smart phone was here now in my hands!I have had it for over a year now. I still love it although a Galaxy Note would be a nice step up.
However can you carry your ipad in your pocket? your galaxy note? I don't think so. But my little Nikia C3-00 yes.Ok so it does not run on android and does not have as many apps. But if you are looking for a phone to last forever with one complete charge this is it. Make calls, surf the net, check email, take some photos, listen to music (great headset by the way) videos its great!
Email alerts did stop after the first few months. Seems to be a universal problem with this phone, but its ok, a pesky 'ding' each time you receive an email can be annoying so i don't mind. I just press the email button and am logging in to email within seconds when i need to.Battery - oh man!! One charge and talk and surf and text easily 4 complete days. I never charge the phone when its on the last bar I wait for the low bat warning which incidentally if it starts at 9AM should still get you through the day with careful usage. Awesome.
The silver on the buttons did go pretty quickly :(Oh yeah and sometimes it auto connects to wifi even if you have it on don't connect automatically.
