I found the idea of a USB cable better than using bluetooth or infra-red to sync my mobile with my PC. Firstly because it requires less messing around with settings, and secondly because I'm paranoid as hell about using bluetooth. All three methods will cost roughly the same - if your PC isn't bluetooth/infra-red enabled, you'll need to go out and get a dongle or an infra-red USB connector, which last time I looked cost anything from £15 up. when the cables worked, they were great. I gave up and got a phone with a memory card - another good option - these simply slot into the memory card slot in your PC, but you can only add/remove content from the card. Moral of the story - a really useful add-on, but you really need to store it carefully! I'm rating it 'weak' based on my experience, but when mine did work, I found them really useful and easy to use.

For this reason you should check Nokia's website for information unless you know you phone works with the cable.
