The fact that the two top buttons could be pointed to anything you wanted it to be was amazing to me, not many of the phones that i have used have ever been able to do that.
I only wish that the leading companys in mobile manufacturing would make universal plugs to fit all there range of products.... IE Why can't they make a Charger that fits all Nokia brands or a DesktopCHarger that fits all Motorola.
Motorola has done this with this one phone, from a V300 to a E550
I can use all my bits and pieces that I collected for the V300 on the E550. No more extra expense at having to go out and buy a new case/desktopcharger/facia ect ect.
I find that changing the facias to this things are extremley hard....

...After much chasing I have finally received a Nokia 8800. This is designed as the flagship model of Nokias new releases and it certainly looks the part. Even the box is smartly designed and gives you an idea of the effort that has gone into producing this phone. Nokia has aimed to produce a phone that stands out from the crowd, and at first glance it certainly does.
The screen and stainless steel casing gleam and give the phone a feel of real quality. I have never seen a better screen on a mobile. Contained within the box are an excellent range of accessories - a protective suede pouch, a wired handsfree kit, a mains charger, a spare battery and a very nifty desktopcharger. (For my previous Nokia 8910i I paid over £50 to assemble a similar range of accesories so I consider these inclusions as very good value!).

Advantages: Full of Features, Small, Compact, WAP Enabled, Activate calls by speech, Downloadable game packs, Downloadable Ring tones/screensavers/logos. Can send 3 times normal text message length to other compatible Nokia's. In built alarm clock, calculator etc. Disadvantages: None I have found so far. Never crashes/freezes up.
...messages can be merged into one really long one. Other compatible Nokia's will recognise the three separate messages it receives as a long text message and will display it as such.
The phone will display the caller’s number when an incoming call is being received, or, if it recognises the number from your phone book, will display the name/description you have set in the phone book with that number.
The phone has detachable front and back covers, which you can replace with one of the many sets for sale on the high street. The standard charger takes about three and a half hours to charge the battery. Accessories such as car chargers, hand-free kits, car kits, desktopchargers, travel chargers, spare batteries and a whole load of other stuff are available to purchase.
