Topic - NOkia E71
Nokia E71, the new mobile out in the market. Its targetted mainly for the Business people. This new phone has a lot of features packed in it for Business/Office People. Its Specs are
SUPPORTS Micro SD 2.0 VERSION MEMORY CARDS Buit-In GPS (Sirf Star III) is fast and very quick in tracking satellites in less than 20 seconds, sometimes when even inside house
Easy to use Interface with Symbian OS 9.2
3D TONES AND IN-BUILT FLASH PLAYER and REAL PLAYER performs quite good with web and also with video streamings.
FM Radio Performs very good during FM Playback
Elegant and stylish face plate with chrome "like" finish adds to it beauty and it makes the phone to look and feel better from other Business Class phones.
Chrome finish makes the phone to act like a self portrait mirror so that one can actually "make up" their face for a good photo shoot by using this phone as a mirror.
Also The phone's thickness (less than 1cm early 0.65 cm in thickness)
LEATHER POUCH THAT IS INCLUDED IN THE BOX.
Now for the cons.....
Symbian OS 9.2 isnt much different from version 9.1. Anyways this cant be said as a 'con' of E71 as its with Symbian OS Group who manufactures it and not with Nokia.
Lack of touchscreen and smaller screensize makes the users to get disappointed at certain times. But this is the case only when the users want touch screen as this phone performs better woth its Full sized QWERTY keyboard
3.15 MP AF camera performance is poor. Photos look like its taken from a 1.0 MP camera.
Though Display is said to be of 16M colors as found in N95 its not that good and still looks like a 65k display.
Flash is very weak. There is no use of having such a weak flash as it would not be able to take photos at night. Its really poor.
Memory card accessing is quite slow and sometimes it takes 3-5 minutes to open up a gallery if you have nearly 50 photos in it.
Multitasking is not supported fully as when listening to a music and when browsing the phone, the music gets stuck up.
Lack of support for N-Gage games ( It's silly to expect Business class phones to support N-Gage, But still.....)
Headphone is really a low class headphone. Its not quite well when playing mp3 or video even when equalizer settings are set to match the best for the songs that is being played.
QWERTY Keyboard is at its best in this phone. But still people with "fat fingers" will find it difficult when it comes to key press.
Now here comes the rating and final conclusion....
Though there are quite an amount of pros and cons to be considered in this phone, Most of the times PROS OUTWEIGH THE CONS. The phone is very sturdy and is easy to use once when users get practiced to this QWERTY keyboard.
Also The phone's thickness (less than 1cm early 0.65 cm in thickness) makes this fone easier to carry in the LEATHER POUCH (INCLUDED IN THE BOX).

MEMORY CARD SUPPORT (MICRO SD) = 9/10 (8 GB would be sufficient for such kind of phones)
i Personally use this phone and im very much satisfied with the interface it provides and all other bunch of applications that comes with it. This phone is sturdy to use and its damn good.
Hence i would personally recommend the users to buy this phone so that its all in one package for one's business needs and yes, it also satisfies me for the entertainment ( Music playback is good ).

Review of Nokia E71
Advantages: Cheap compared to standalone, removes the need for seperate sat nav Disadvantages: No post code only search but this can be resolved with adding a house number of any house
Advantages: Great for the Internet and organising your calendar and great on price. Disadvantages: May not be worth the savings if you like the Nokia E71.
