As readers of my reviews will know I have a special love for Nokia phones. I still consider the E75 the best one around (though not perfect) but felt forced to 'downgrading', as the Nokia Maps software on my E75 went all funny and support from Nokia is next to non-existent. So. I changed to the E72 after reading some reviews, and things are actually quite good... What is most surprising is how well the QWERTY keyboard works - even with the numbers. A keyboard layout like the one on the E72 is not intuitive, but any writer on a computer keyboard will recognize it. And this is the reason why I ... more

Ok so I know there's a lot of incredibly technical reviews of the Nokia E72, so I thought that instead I would summarise its usefulness in slightly simpler terms from the point of view of someone who has owned this phone for six months now. Battery Life This depends largely on the features that you are using on the phone. When I went on holiday kept my phone switched on and used it just for texting, and the battery lasted well over a week. If you are using more demanding features such as the internet or other applications and games a lot, however, you will find that this eats into the battery ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good interface, durable

Disadvantages Disadvantages only 4 GB memory

In my eyes Nokia have always been the brand I pick for phones. My 'Nokia Fetish' started when I was young, way back when the good old 'brick' 3210 phones came out. I liked how easy it was to use and it's durability. As time went on I kept upgrading with Nokia Phones. The Nokia E72 is another great product. Appearance. It's general appearance is quite large and it has a lot of buttons. Probably not the best for first-time buyers or younger folk but definetly suitable for people used to either Blackburry, iPhone or other products from the 'E' range. It is standard black and white (-also ... more

Advantages Advantages Emailing and text interface, qwerty keyboard

Disadvantages Disadvantages Size of display, some aspects of keyboard

Nokia E72 was released by Nokia in 2009, clearly on the wave of success of E71. In fact, E72 was meant to be a fixed and improved Nokia E71. In my opinion the idea worked out perfectly. So, let’s see what we get for a price of £269: First of all, QWERTY keyboard, which will probably seem very uncomfortable to use from the first touch, but don’t give up. In a week you will not imagine yourself using touch screen or usual mobile phone keyboard. Secondly, as Nokia E72 was also released to compete with really popular Blackberries, we should look at e-mailing and texting features. And they will not ... more

Nokia E72 Nokia E72 is the best Smartphone I’ve ever had. From my own point of view this phone is one of the best Smartphone made by Nokia. Exterior The exterior of this phone is made of steel metal on the border. It’s a small phone but heavier than what it looks like. Personally, my E72 has dropped loads of times and has couple scratches here and there, except from that it’s a strong phone because the screen has never cracked or no major damage has occurred. The E72 can be defined had the upgrade to the E71, from the 3Megpixels of the E71 to a 5 Megapixel camera with flash on the E72, which ... more
