Ok where to start. My sister got the headset free with her Motorola phone (ages ago) she has never used it and hid lost the instructions for it. We have just moved house and my dad found the headset. He charged it up but none of use could work out how to use it as SOMEONE (My sister) had lost the instructions. So I searched the web yesterday and found a PDF instruction book ready to look at. The file loaded up and I was using the headset in minutes.
-The box-
the box is made of plastic and is about 25cm tall and 20 cm wide. (approx.). There is a stylish cover thing on the inside so you can see what you are buying. It says;
" Bluetooth Universal Wireless HeadsetHS850" it also states that it is compatible with all Bluetooth phones. The headset is displayed at the front of the box with the microphone open so you can see the size ...
Advantages: Easy to use and connect Disadvantages: Other people can hear what you say
with the headset.
The cost is not too bad for a bluetoothheadset. I paid £53.99 as I bought it with my phone, but I have seen it around for £59.99.
The headset works with the following Nokia phones:
Nokia 6310, Nokia 6310i, Nokia 8910, Nokia 6650, Nokia 3650, Nokia 8910i, Nokia 6600, Nokia N-Gage, Nokia 6230, Nokia 6820, Nokia 6810, Nokia 7700, Nokia 7600, Nokia 3660, Nokia 9500 Communicator, Nokia 7610.
Im not sure what this means but you may find it useful to know that the headset is compliant with and adopts the Bluetooth Specification 1.1. The headset can also work with other bluetooth phones, but you would need to check the compatibility to make sure.
Overall, I would recommend the headset. It is easy to connect and use, aswell as having good clarity. ...
Advantages: Very comfortable, good earpiece volume, stylish, many extras Disadvantages: None that I can find.
in-call volume very good.
OTHER FEATURES
The Discovery uses Bluetooth V1.2, which the blurb states is meant to reduce interference. I think this, together with range of use, is pretty subjective since it depends on many, often unpredictable, factors. I usually keep my phone in my handbag whilst out and about and have had no problems with dropped calls etc. Similarly, I can walk around the house without loss of signal. My experience may not be yours. It beeps when out of range, so at least you know!
The headset 'beeps' in your ear when a call is incoming at which point a quick touch of the button answers it and ends it.. Personally, I have my Discovery/Treo set to answer calls automatically, which I find very convenient, especially when driving. In addition to the call button there are two buttons for volume up and down ...
