The Nokia HDD-1 Dual Headset / Stereo Headphones is a very trendy looking and rather useful hands-free accessory. Simply plug it into your Nokia phone and you're away! A single wire goes from a phones hands-free/headphone socket up to the white 'triangle' (as shown in the image) then two separate wires run from the same white triangle to the actual earpieces.

Not only useful for listening to the FM radio (if your phone has it) in stereo sound this can also be used during a call but allows for both earpieces to be used, therefore providing a higher sound level .. it's as if they were standing right in front of you.

The actual white triangle has a rubber(ish) inside area and allows you to store the earpieces in pre-shaped slots. You can also squeeze the bigger end to open the smaller end and clip it into clothing or a necklace, etc, etc.

What is advantageous about this headset is the fact that the white triangle allows you to clip it onto any item of clothes or a necklace. This is helpful since it keeps the button in an easy to access place but also allows for the microphone to be as close as possible to your mouth. Of course, when you're in a noisy place you can unclip the white triangle and actually hold it closer to your mouth which seems rather cool, although this wouldn't really be 'hands-free'.

On each earpiece is, as you would expect, either an L or an R to indicate which earpiece is for which ear.

~ Cost ~
Costs can really vary depending on where you go. Some places sell this cheap whilst others are more expensive. When I brought this I paid between £15 and £20 but look around before you do buy. Ciao picked up a price of £10.99 so I'd suggest going for that one!

~ Notes ~
This product is great for making calls since you can hear the conversation in both ears!

When using the FM radio, the wire from the socket to the white triangle becomes the aerial .. although this doesn't mean you have to hold it up higher to get a reception but it is suggested that you don't wear the wire under clothes.

I've previously broken this headset whilst in a clothes shop after on the wires got caught on a clothes rack that was sticking out.
