I had bought this headset for my Nokia phone a while ago.
The main reason why I purchased these is so that I could listen to music from my phone. Altohugh this headset provided me with great quality sound, the earplugs or the wire themselves wern't too great at all.
The first ever time I bought these, the actual earphones (the part which you put in your ear) detached from the wires after becoming too lose and eventually broke off. At first I thought this was most probably because I didn't look after them properly and just threw them anywhere and left them lying in various places. However, this wasn't the case.
The second time I purchased the NokiaHS 47 headset, I looked after them. I didn't just leave them about anywhere, I carefully put them in a case so that they wouldn't mess up etc...
But this time, the problem I had was ...

The best thing I found with the headset was how easy it was to connect to my phone (nokia 6230). The clarity whilst having conversations is great and the the way it fits onto my ear was confortable. If you have any problems using it, the manual provided has the answers.
The biggest disadvantage of the headset is that other people can hear your conversation. The reason for this is that the headset can be used on your left or right ear, and has a speaker on each side. This is not so bad if you turn the volume setting to low.
The headset can be charged using most nokia chargers and doesn't take too long to charge. The headset can also be used with more than one phone.
I believe it was a good buy. I bought the headset to use whilst driving, and it does exactly what I expected. I can keep the phone in my pocket and answer any call ...

The first HS-4W I had had a fault - the audio in the earpiece was quiet and often distorted. I swapped it for a replacement and the new HS-4W is a totally different experience!
The earpiece sound is clear and loud enough to be used in a car for example. The headset can be used on either ear, so the earpiece has a hole on either side, so there is some sound leakage. A piece of Blu-tack on one side would fix that if it's an issue for you.
The sound from the microphone is good quality - people report that they can hear and understand me fine.
There is a button on the boom that can is used to control calls ? you can answer, reject, redial, voice-dial (if your phone supports it) and pass calls between headset and phone.
The only minor niggle for me is that it?s a bit bulky in my shirt pocket. ;) ...
