I have recently purchased a Nokia n70. i chose this phone as i have nearly always had nokias and have found them to be one of the best phones on the market. (even when you drop them in the loo) (silly me) mind you they still work. when i received my nokia n70 it had the following contents in the box
Nokia N70 handset Battery Charging plug 64Mb RS-MMC Card User manual Data CD with user manual and software USB Cable Stereo Ear phones. Strap Lens cloth
the camera: This phone has a 2 mega pixel camera, which makes it a great camera to take clear photos. It has a digital zoom, It also has flash which seems to do nothing what so ever. it doesnt seem bright enough dto light up anything unless you are in pitch black. it also allows settings to be changed such as, brightness, colour tones and white balance. wou can take b/w or serpia videos as well as the usual colour. the video function is great. it seems very jumpy when recording but in playback mode it is like having your own mini camcorder.
Features: The nokia n70 has many features which are accessed through the menu. The menu is easy to navigate as you would expect from a Nokia phone. Basically the phone allows you to:
Send and receive SMS and MMS text messages. The large screen allows you to see more text before needing to scroll down and means that when typing lengthy messages you don't have to keep going backwards and forwards to see what you have already written.
the usual telephone book entry that comes with every mobile phone.
a fully preset radio. the only thing i found annoying about this is that you always have to take your head set with you.. come on nokia why dont you allow it to use the internal aerial. you can listen to it hands free but the head set is still needed to run it.
It also has the usual calender, calculator, to do list, notepad and voice memo recorder, which are all very usefull and pretty much standard on most phones.
the games you get with the phone are not that good. dont get me wrong snake is brilliant and addictive but as a game junkie i found it not up to much. it is very easy to put new ones on tho. you do not even need the cable. just shove them on the memory card and use the phone to load them. if you look around on the net you can get games for nothing too. this is an added bonus.when you play games tho you can flatten the battery in about an hour. so i recomend buying spares as even if you do not play games it only lasts about a day (thats if you are lucky.)
Memory:
It has 20mb of internal memory and an expansion slot which takes an mmc card. You do get a 64mb mmc card with the phone which is enough to start but if you want to use it as a mp3 player or for games i would buy a bigger one. i got a 1gb for mine and i think it is big enough. (well i havent run out yet)The down side: The things I don't like about the nokia n70 phone is, it shuts down and freezes a lot. this can be anoying especially if you use it as your alarm clock in the morning. i had to go and buy one as my phone let me down and i was getting in to trouble at work for being late. if you have big fat man fingers or long nails the key pad is quite hard to use as the buttons are so close together. the battery as i have mentioned previously does not last that long. and for the price it is not a lot cop. if you were to get one for say 90 to 100 quid then it is a lot of phone for the money. i would reccomend it but only if you get it for about 100 quid
