I am writing this review keeping in mind that the readers are very well aware of nokia N series mobiles. So in this review you will find only additional features and drawbacks Nokia N78 is a wonderful piece.I am simply a fan of this mobile because it has anything and everything you wish to have in your cell phone. ---------------------------- Additional Features ---------------------------- It has additional features like FM TRANSMITTER.Yea you heard it right not FM receiver. Its TRANSMITTER.It means you actually can transmit songs played in your cellphone via the FM on any selected bandwidth. But the range of this transmission is only 3 or maximum 5 meters.
Another additional feature is the WI FI LAN.You can use this phone to browse via wi fi lan as well.
It has a GPS system.
It supports maps so you can search for a place when you are lost but it requires gprs connection.
The other regular features include 3.2 mega pixels carl zeiss lens camera, gprs connectivity and all the functions that classic n73 has. _____________
Drawbacks _______________
However the inbuilt memory is just 50mbs so nokia throws in a 2gb card as an accessory with it. The back panel is bit creaky and not intact. Its a bit heavy. It gets warm after prolonged voip chat. Battery needs to be charged after every couple of days.
Report has it that the production is on hold as its not a good selling piece due to its unconventional keypad.
Overall its one of the finest piece in its range if the looks of the phone doesnt bother you. Also within the same range N82 would be a good option too.Its simply a clone having same looks the difference being the keypad and one more button next to the photo click one.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
I have to agree with the comment below, you can't assume prior knowledge of the phone or the series when writing a review. A review should assume only basic knowledge of any phone, for example, you don't need to discuss how to turn it on and off but you should discuss if this is a difficult thing to do (if that was the case) or if it's fiddly to remove the battery or cover and its basic features, not just additional features. As an example I'm looking to get the N85 or higher spec but it does not mean I have been using an N series phone already, so I don't know what any of the features are of the N series so this wouldn't help me in a buying decision. I'll be happy to reread/rerate as appropriate should you edit your review with more pertinent info and leave me a message in my guestbook :)

Although you have said that readers should already be aware of N-series phones, most might not be, and to make it a good review, you should write comprehensively about that one mobile phone, so that anyone interested can make their decision based upon it, and not need to scout for other resources.
