I have to say that when the Nokia N95 was first released, i was eargerly awaiting the little red box to arrive. I have always been into gadgets & technology, mobile phones being a big part of this. and the hype; The N95 boast a massive feature list, almost anything you could ever want in a phone - 5 megapixel camera, which i might add is possibly the greatest feature of the phone, 3G video calling & full internet access on the move. MMS.... the list goes on. Not only does the features list look impressive, but the phone aesthetically is excellent, the screen clear and crisp and the two slide functions definate. - It arrives, and like a child at christmas, i'm straight into the box. Contacts updated, software installed, synchronised with PC, easy. Ease of use, as you expect with any nokia, the user interface is A1. Yes i am as happy as the proverbial pig in poo, but, and a very big but, not for long. As soon as you start to use the memory hungry features - in this instance, the internet, nothing major, only hotmail, the page half loads and........ 'Memory full, please close othe applications and try again' - what! there is nothing else open!!!!! ok, so once or twice is ok, but everytime? I spoke to vodafone who very kindly replaced the phone saying it was a software issue. So N95 mk2 - this one was a lemon from the offset. within 24 hours the earphone began distorting & everytime I load the browser the phone would reset itself, turn off and on again. another call to vodafone and we're on mk3 (in 2 months) Intermittently turning on and off and very slow coping with multiple functions (writing a text as another comes in) but i can live with that, whats a few more seconds anyway but when the bloody thing decides that i dont need my contacts or the words stored in the dictionary anymore, well, off it goes again! There must be an inherent problem with the N95 because ( i am now on the 5th) its the same problems over and over. In terms of functionality, I think the N95 is untouchable, reliability it needs some attention. the pros do outweigh the cons, but be prepared to be without it for a while until the bugs are fixed! overall, if you can accept the faults you could do alot worse than an N95
