I've now owned this phone for 10 months and have got on with it very well. I enjoy the simplicity of the Nokia menus and the standard, almost cartoonish, graphics. There are some great features like the 5 mega pixel camera - the photo quality is as good as my very expensive 5 mega pixel digital camera and the movie caption mode is also very good for making short vedios. I bought a seperate 2 GB memory card and after 10 months I'm struggling to make an impact on such a massive memory base. The music storage is useful however I've found it difficult to upload my own music onto the phone and play in back - the tracks seem to get lost in the confusing filing system. One of the key features that attacted me to the phone was the Sat Nav function. I think that it was provided for free for the first 3 months by my service provider, however after that period I have refused to pay to maintain the service. When I did have use of this function it was very impressive - working just like a dedicted Sat Nav. The set up was fairly easy and the mapping was free from the Nokia website. I particularly like the loudspeaker function, the quality is good enough to do away with a hands free kit, however the sound is not good enough for this in all car environments. The major problem that I have had with this phone is that it seems a bit too cleaver for itsself. Sometimes the software will freeze if you ask it to perform too make demanding tasks at once. If you have the phone in your back pocket (as I regularly do) when you sit down the key pad can easily unlock -this has resulted in lots of buttons being pressed at once, this has over demanded of the phone, the software has crashed and the phone is useless until the battery is removed for 30 seconds and the phone rebooted. In all it is a very good phone and I would have one again. It is capable of most of the functions of a labtop contumer - and you can call your mum from it too!
