hey guys! this phone is great. no two ways about it. havent personally heard of any problems occurring with software, which happened quite quickly with the original n95 and the n96, so hopefully this is getting better.
STORAGE
the phone itself comes complete with 32GB of storage, a massive amount for a phone, with the iphone only offering a 16GB max. also ,the N97 has expandable storage of an extra 16GB, so thats a massive 48GB in total! plenty of space for movies (which you can watch) tv shows, music photos etc.
DISPLAY
3.5inch screen which has a handy little tilt in it, so you can actually set it flat on a table and still use the keypad, much like a teeny weeny laptop, or you can watch your movies etc like that. 16m colours so very high quality.
FEATURES
ok, the phone has a 5mp camera, which is pretty good as standards go, isnt going to pin any awards, but you cant have everything. it has smartphone capabilities, with microsoft office (word, excel powerpoint) and browsing of the full internet. also has a full media player. comes standard with all the nokia qwerks, such as n-seriesgames etc, which also gives you the choice of getting one free full version :)
BATTERY
not incredible, but for a phone with this much goin on, its pretty darn good. we're talking about 5 hours talktime, and about 200 hours standby. again, not going to win awards, but it is fairly good for a touchscreen with all these features.
EASE OF USE
as with all nokia, its fool-proof. easy menu layout, easy command keys, simple texting/camera/internet.
its all groovy baby!
i would definately recommend this to a friend if they have a lot of money. personally speaking, i have a smartphone and find it invaluable, but if you arent going ot use the full internet or microoft office, its a bit of a waste. expandable memory is very good, and a very clear screen, which one of the best cameras a smartphone will offer, so i would give it an 8/10
