Advantages Advantages Nice appearance, great camera, plenty of apps, easy to use.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes a while to get used to, a few manufacture faults, slightly heavy.

I have no real need for an iPhone (not into apps) or Blackberry (QWERTY keyboard & small buttons) so when my free upgrade day came around I chose the Nokia X6. I already had a Nokia but this was my first smartphone with a touch screen so there was a lot to get used to. I have the black X6 and it's a very attractive looking phone. The screen is very large and takes up around three quarters of the front. It's quite heavy compared to HTCs and iPhones but it's not a brick. There are very few buttons which give it a sleek appearance. The menu was pretty much the same as any other Nokia mobile with ... more

Advantages Advantages large clear screen, excellent web browsing, lots of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor battery life, feels somewhat delicate

I obtained the Nokia X6 as a free upgrade when I renewed my mobile phone contract and felt somewhat 'forced' into selecting it as it was the best available option at the time. I have never been keen on the idea of touchscreen phones, however the X6 has gone some way to winning me over. It is a decent sized handset (not too big or too small) and the touch screen itself is very responsive when it works. However, I have had several glitches where the screen has locked or frozen and I've had to restart the phone. It took me a little while to get used to the idea of having no buttons and therefore ... more

Advantages Advantages Two modes of typing (QWERTY and traditional), good camera, GPS, automatic updates

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Screen occasionally freezes

At first, I found this phone very confusing and difficult to use as it was my first touch screen phone. However, after a little bit of practice it has become second nature and it is unlikely that I would go back to a button only phone. The touch screen feature is very clever. For most applications, two touches are required to ensure that things are not selected incorrectly, and the phone vibrates slightly to confirm that something has been selected. The main camera is very impressive, though the secondary camera is quite inferior and has less definition. My main niggle with this phone is that ... more

Advantages Advantages Brilliant Looking Device, Easy To Use, Good Value, Good Quality.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Basic Apps, Setup Manual Is Hard To Follow

I got this phone on a contract from T-Mobile for £20 a month. It was a T-Mobile deal of the week. I got it and was ready through the setup leaflet and thought that it was too in depth, however I started up the phone and by itself guided me all the way through and I was setup within no time. The phone looks highly professional and is a very handy size. It fits in my pocket perfectly and isn't very heavy. When I was doing some shopping I managed to drop my phone in the car park and because of my experience with phones in the past I thought I'd killed it, I'd only had it two weeks, yet I was ... more
