The BayStack 380-24T Switch is a Layer-2 Gigabit switch with 24 10/100/1000 auto-sensing copper ports including 4 SFP (Small form factor pluggable) GBIC ports. It provides...
more...high-density Gigabit connectivity to desktop power users for high-speed applications such as graphics, multimedia, and CAD/CAM. The BayStack 380 Switch is also an ideal solution for aggregating network traffic from the wiring closet. The BayStack 380 Switch is an ideal solution for medium-to-large enterprise customers. In the BayStack 380-24T Switch, ports 21 through 24 may be configured as either 10/100/1000BASE-TX ports or SFP GBIC ports in any combination. The built-in SFP GBIC ports provide dedicated uplink connectivity to other switches, servers or the network core such as Passport 8600 Switches. The BayStack 380-24T Switch is ideal as a cost-effective aggregation solution, as compared to Layer 3 switches. It can also be used for aggregating traffic from different campus buildings to the network center. The MultiLink Trunking feature of the BayStack 380-24T supports load-balancing and automatic fail-over for link redundancy and can support up to 8Gbps of bandwidth per trunk for server farm applications. The BayStack 380 Switch is Web-manageable and supports an RPS/UPS option using the BayStack 10 power supply.

Belkin 2-Port KVM Switch With Built-In Cabling
Review of Belkin 2-Port KVM Switch with Built-In Cabling - KVM switch - 2 ports by  ilaskey

Advantages: Advantages: Cheap, all in one solution
Disadvantages: No manual overide or audio support

...has USB connections for the keyboard and mouse although Belkin do a range of KVM's so you can probably find a PS/2 equivelent if you have that sort of mouse/keyboard. The PS/2 models also include PS/2->USB adaptors so you'll also need those if you have a USB mouse and PS/2 keyboard. This particular model has no support for audio so if you need to also have your microphone and speakers switch from PC to PC, look elsewhere. The monitor, keyboard and mouse are then connected to the KVM to complete the set up. One bugbear is that like the vast majority of KVMs, this Belkin unit has cables going in one end and out the other making it difficult to place on a desktop without having cables hanging out everywhere. However, there is no reason why you can't just tuck it out the way out of sight as it has no parts you'd normally need to access... Read review

Switch to Netgear
Review of Netgear 24port 10/100 Switch by  andycharger

Advantages: Easy to use, easy to install
Disadvantages: closeness of the ports.

...Netgear are well known for their networking equipment and it is for this reason I want to tell you about a great piece of kit. The 24 port switch. 24 ports of networking capability.... But what does that all mean??? Ok, let me tell you about what a network is. Even the internet is just one big network. it is simply just a collection of computers that are connected together and can communicate. Simple! But, how do you connect them together? Its not like they shake hands and have a chat is it? Well in a way, that is what they are doing but using some extra hardware to do this. To put a computer on a network, it needs a Network interface card or NIC. This plugs into your computer's motherboard. Its basically similar to installing a graphics card or sound card. You then need to connect the computer via the NIC card to... Read review
