Advantages: Powerful, Easy to configure, Good support, Low cost Disadvantages: Needs extra 'modem' for each broadband Connection, Occasional reboots required
the 2950 as a router with the added bonus of having VPN capabilities but with a CISCO, although considerably more expensive, usually has hardware that is made for the job in particular so I would expect a CISCO to perform better than the Draytek (but I do not know from experience).
A CISCO router would probably require fewer reboots (maybe once a year or even less) so they are more reliable but they would require a CISCO qualified engineer to configure (at cost). Despite this, if the budget allows, I?d also consider CISCO products for the added security and reliability. However for a small to medium business where budget is limited, the Draytek Vigor 2950 can do the job, is easy to configure, is low cost and has good manufacturer support so I?m happy to recommend it.

Advantages: ease of setup, reliable connection Disadvantages: not the fastest on the market
When looking to go wireless in the computer world it is an absolute minefield when it comes to wireless routers/modems. Its a good trustworthy brand and it seemed to come up to scratch on speed.
Upon opening the box the installation was very simple indeed. I just followed the instructions that came with the router and hey prsto i was wireless on my laptop.Software is easy to install and self explanatory. Its not the fastest band of router on the market but for what i needed it was ample ...
Advantages: Reliable, Fast, Easy to configure, Lots of features, USB for sharing drives Disadvantages: Bit expensive, Not full speed with every machine
one tells you your broadband speed and other stuff on a display on the router itself, how cool is that? As for this Belkin N+ modem router, it has all the features you could need and more unless you need VPN (connects you to a network securely over the Internet (Virtual Private Network)) but it?s not meant to be a business router so can?t blame them for that. Power cuts can kill the thing but that aside, highly recommended as you do get a lifetime warranty with Belkin.
