Low Cost Enterprise Security Firewall Router

Advantages: Powerful, Easy to configure, Good support, Low cost
Disadvantages: Needs extra 'modem' for each broadband Connection, Occasional reboots required

the 2950 as a router with the added bonus of having VPN capabilities but with a CISCO, although considerably more expensive, usually has hardware that is made for the job in particular so I would expect a CISCO to perform better than the Draytek (but I do not know from experience). A CISCO router would probably require fewer reboots (maybe once a year or even less) so they are more reliable but they would require a CISCO qualified engineer to configure (at cost). Despite this, if the budget allows, I?d also consider CISCO products for the added security and reliability. However for a small to medium business where budget is limited, the Draytek Vigor 2950 can do the job, is easy to configure, is low cost and has good manufacturer support so I?m happy to recommend it. Thanks for reading! ...

Belting Belkin Router!

Advantages: Fairly easy to set up, easy to use, reliable, looks good.
Disadvantages: Bandwidth Innacurate.

in the garden, then you shouldn't have any big connection issues (dropping connection etc) due to its proximity? unless you live in a big house with a big garden of course. You should check Belkins website to make sure this router will provide the coverage you need though as I wouldn't want to just assume it would for the purpose of this review. It also means that my dad can use my connection from his house next door if his net ever goes down (although he'd need me to give him the security password which I shall talk about below) as our network shows up on his laptop when he's reconnecting to his home network haha. This also reinforces the security aspect that I will address in a few moments as you don't know who else can pick up your network on a wireless search within your area! Setting up was relatively easy, connect all the wires ...

Great Multimedia Wireless Router from Belkin

Advantages: Reliable, Fast, Easy to configure, Lots of features, USB for sharing drives
Disadvantages: Bit expensive, Not full speed with every machine

of features and even a USB port for sharing files on drives - Lifetime manufacturer's warranty! CONS - Too sensitive to power cuts - A bit expensive - Not full speed on my laptop despite it having a Wireless N network card VERDICT This is one of the best routers I've ever used and it hasn't given me any grief until I had a power cut, which pretty much broke it. However, it survived a further 2-3 power cuts so maybe it was a one off. It is a bit on the expensive side but not as much as business routers. There is another router from Belkin that costs even more than this one but that one tells you your broadband speed and other stuff on a display on the router itself, how cool is that? As for this Belkin N+ modem router, it has all the features you could need and more unless you need VPN (connects you to a network securely over ...
