Northern Electric Retail (Shop)

My personal dealings with Northern Electric stores have been excellent. On the first occasion we were looking to buy a camcorder and after looking at several different stores we found ourselves at Northern Electric. To be honest it's not a shop that I would have normally went into as the prices they seem to advertise do seem to be slightly higher than others on the high street (or retail park ;)). When we entered the shop nobody pounced on us from behind a pile of video boxes, we were left to browse at our leisure. When we asked for assistance the lady we spoke to was welcoming, polite but too pally, she didn't treat us like an old friend she'd never seen in years (Comet take note!). We told her what we were looking for and the sort of price we were looking to pay. She showed us the different models and different deals. We settled for a panasonic which came with this and that. We managed to get 10% off the price without virtually any haggling which saved us £35. We were given a small brochure about extended warranties which meant we had been saved the hard sell about how wise it would be to take up the extra warranty. Throughout the time we were in the store we were made to feel like a rare thing....a customer
