Advantages: Huge selection of collectibles and antiq1ues--prices are real low, dealers will bargain, at least 800 sellers, no new stuff sold there, parking is free, only 30 minutes frm downtown los angeles, very friendly dealers and staff Disadvantages: can't think of any
...I visited this antique and collectible show last month and it was fantastic--over 800 sellers with a huge variety of vintage items from pottery to furniture, no new goods sold there! Had a ball, prices were very low, dealers bargained, thw quality of collectibles was excellent. Will come back every 3rd Sunday from now on. Parking was free and admission was only $4.50 for the day. it was great and it was only a half hour ride from mid Wilshire district in LosAngeles. Great bargains and selection on furniture and jewelry with a decent selection of old toys , banks plus some vintage linens. Plenty of shabby chic sold there (the white painted country style furniture), again at great prices....

Advantages: Free Disadvantages: The stalls are not all in one place
...It is held every first Sunday of the month at Pasadena City College parking lot. There is a five stories parking structure just right in the center. Since it is free admission, parking is free also. So it is always full of visitors. Sellers permits are issued to full-time Pasadena City College students at a reasonable price and experienced vendors. Since there are several parking lots, one has to walk around different parking lots to hunt for good stuff. The two major ones are in front of the College near the tennis court, which is big enough for visitors to spend half of the day. You can find collectible items like antique, toys, home deco, electronics, records, posters... It is considered as the best records swaps in southern california.
I usually went there to look for old toy characters' items. I am happy because I can always find...

...I love to go and visit different markets, but one market that has to top the lot is St Georges Market at Oxford Street Belfast, which I visit on a Friday and Saturday morning. I will give a little history on this market it was built way back in 1890, but as the years passed it did suffer from neglect until they decieded to give it a facelift and bring it back to life again and to its original victorian splendour. Its a market that is full of colour and was voted back in 2004 one of the best UK markets.
Friday morning is the variety market which opens from 6.am until 1.00pm, all in all there are 248 market stalls which sell anything from fresh meat, fruit&vegetables, antiques, clothing, jewellery, and not forgetting a great array of different seafood. There are 23 fish stalls and have become the leading retail fish market in Ireland...
