Norton Ghost V10

Norton Ghost 10 is easily used even on a 250MB memory pc.
You can ' hotbackup ' ,and ' hotimage ' to most USB external HDD [ hot - meaning you don't have to leave windows OS .. I use a USB Maxtor drive for images]
Also it is backward compatible with powerquest partition magic .pqi images. It works on ntfs and fat32.
It didn't disrupt the manufacturers reinstall partition on my laptop , unlike acronis imaging software.

You can retrieve partial data only, if needs.
It can't alter the partitions though , or manage booting..but only geeks need that , IMHO.
You can boot it from the CD also.
Straightforward, timesaving operation - from toolbar.

Norton Ghost 12 is worse on my laptop - didn't install on my XP laptop; as you need 500mb memory which I don't have.
You can retrieve partial data only, if needs.
