Advantages: Very quiet running; "A" efficiency rating Disadvantages: Not 'frost-free'
I bought a KG36P320 from BE Direct for £474.99 in August 2004. It?s finished in white, with brushed stainless steel handles. The reasons that I chose this fridge/freezer over other similarly sized ones were:
* It was reported to be very quiet while running
* ?A? Rating for energy efficiency
* Digital temperature controls
* Two compressors
* Siemens? reputation
I haven?t been disappointed ? it really does run very quietly. My kitchen is next to my main living area and I used to hear my previous (Hotpoint) fridge/freezer running all the time. The Siemens I only notice when everything else is silent.
