Full name Norwich City Football Club Nickname(s) The Canaries Founded --- 17 June 1902; 109 years ago (1902-06-17) Ground Carrow Road --- Capacity: 27,033 Chairman - Alan Bowkett Manager - Paul Lambert 2010–11 Championship, 2nd (promoted) After the seismic 6-1 result at Old Trafford that will surely signal Manchester City to go on to dominate British football for the next five years, it was refreshing to note that the British owned and run Norwich City had yet again put out an all British starting eleven to earn a brilliant draw at Anfield last week. Whereas all of Man Citys goal scorers were ... more

Advantages Advantages very good manager, a few very good players

Disadvantages Disadvantages no real experience at premiership level

In this review i am going to look at wheather norwich have the ability to stay in the Premier League or not. I shall start by looking at the players that are at the club at the end of last season who i believe have the ability to play in the Premier League. I will then go on to look at the signings that Nigel Worthington has made over the summer. Finally i will look at the sides also in a relegation battle and conclude with my thoughts on who will stay up and who will go down. I will start with our best known and probably most useful player, Darren Huckerby. Darren signed for us on boxing day ... more

Advantages Advantages Good Medium Sized Club

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not enough team depth or quality

I have been a City fan for a decade now, time really does fly, and have seen some of the greatest moments in the clubs history of recent years, Our top 3 finish and our fantastic run in Europe the following season the highlight of course. But now it has all gone horribly pear shaped. With Robert Chase leaving us with a hefty £7 million debt to contend with, as is the crisis with many smaller clubs, money is always the issue, and as the bridge between the premiership and the 1st division gets wider every year, so do our chances of actually making it in the big time. All we have ever done is ... more

Advantages Advantages The team looks in good shape

Disadvantages Disadvantages Need to steer clear of injuries

This is the year that the City will go good, I am convince of it. Bryan Hamilton has put together a very useful looking team that has been aumented by players brought in on trial/loan and those that make the grade signed up. With Gaetano Giallanza and Iwan Roberts up front and Craig Bellamy just behind, Norwich have a useful looking attach force plus with Matt Jackson at the heart of defense and Andy Marshall between the sticks Norwich defense looks in good shape. If we remain clear of seriously injury problems I believe Norwich City is looking forward to the reward to hitting the big time ... more

    Advantages Advantages Nice Ground

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Constant Disapointment

After the sale of Craig Bellamy Norwich have run out of young gifted players to sell. Surley now they must realise to get promotion to the premier league they have to start paying the wages demanded and bring in some new blood. After a terible start to the season fans are sticking by their team in the hope that they can only get better, but with injuries depleting the squad and goals having totally dried up what lies in store is another season of mid/bottom table hell. Ipswich managed to get out of a division that is becoming increasingly harder every year and if Norwich cannot follow in their ... more
