i traded a few times in the past with nv. expensive charges for no special service. the site is basic in contents apart from afx news/delayed trades which you can join for free to access. the so much hyped access to flotations a few months ago proved to be absolute rubbish in terms of quality and quantity. i have stopped using them a fair while ago due to charges and no grat service. have sent emails to them in the past requesting general help re; site/ transactions - they never replied. there are much cheaper and better online brokers around. do not touch with a bargepole.

Advantages: Easy banking Disadvantages: Slow loading of pages
. I can now check my balance on my accounts, I can transfer money instantly, I can set up new standing orders. No more problems of getting to the bank on time, finding a parking space etc, etc.
I can download my statement and analyse it in a spreadsheet- all of this on a Sunday evening when there is nothing on the TV!
For those of you who have not yet ventured into online banking and want these sorts of facilities at your fingertips - go for it!
The only downside as far as Nat West is concerned is the time it takes for the various pages of their site to load. ...
