The Daily paper for Nottingham

Advantages: Broadsheet, easy to read
Disadvantages: None

The Nottingham Evening Post is a regional paper for the East Midland's regional capital. As well as covering county-wide news, it does have national, international and community news in it.

It went tabloid only a few years ago, and is now a far more popular paper that it's broadsheet relative. At least you do not need strong arms to read it! It hasn't changed since the first tabloid edition except for the addition of a magazine on ...
...the south of the city, and the old offices became redundant. The former Post site is now occupied by the Cornerhouse leisure complex.

All in all, the Post is an informative paper which continues to report the news for Nottingham in it's own special way.

All the Nottingham news.

Advantages: Good local newspaper.
Disadvantages: None.

...you live in or around Nottingham then you will certainly be aware of the Nottingham Evening Post. Published six days of the week this really is the main local newspaper for this area. The paper costs 29p (home delivered copies are 24p) and is published in a tabloid format. There is some colour in the paper but it is primarily a traditional black and white paper. The paper has an excellent news reporting team and is able to cover almost any story ...
...to navigate and complements the daily paper very well. As well as being supplied to almost newsagents in the county there are traditional street vendors that sell the Evening Post throughout the city centre. Nottingham would seem a very strange place without this very good daily evening paper. ...

Not Enough News On Crime

Advantages: okay newspaper
Disadvantages: no idea about crime

...at analysing crime in the Nottingham area. I have never fully understood that much crime happens every day around the city area in Nottingham. Now I understand... Today some girls came up and said they needed 20p. I know that i would want help if i asked so i gave them 20p. One of the girls then reached into my purse and stole my £5.00. They then tried to talk to us and the girl who tried to take my money asked me to give her bigfist (a way of ...
...4 boys are a big match for 3 girls. No security guards noticed anything. I had no idea that Nottingham city could be so unsafe for teenage girls. Perhaps the government should take a greater interest. I wont feel safe to carry belongings around again. Gem xxx ...

Will the New 96 Trent FM get any better

Advantages: Good for advertising businesses
Disadvantages: Not enough music and too much talk. Might as well be a BBC Radio Station

I listen to radio all the time as I do not watch TV. You would expect to hear music a couple of advert and the hourly news, but not with the New 96 Trent FM. I have now stopped listening to this radio station as all you hear is talking, adverts and the news and out of an hour slot, you will probably hear about 5 songs. Is this really a radio station? Trent FM have relaunched the radio station twice in the matter of 15 years as it is vital that they get the listeners into the show as they are a Independant Radio Station which are owned by GWR. The last relaunch was in 1995 when they were going on to the streets finding out what people expect from a radio station, and they advertised in The Nottingham Evening Post with questionnaires to fill in and send back to them. They listened to this for about six months as there were about 2 ...
