It went tabloid only a few years ago, and is now a far more popular paper that it's broadsheet relative. At least you do not need strong arms to read it! It hasn't changed since the first tabloid edition except for the addition of a magazine on Saturdays which details radio and TV for the next 7 days.
If you are trying to get a copy on a Wednesday, you may have some difficulty because it is the Jobs day. Locally to me, most shops sell out quite quick! Motoring is featured on Fridays. There is an entertainment section which is quite informative - detailing movies to clubbing, dancing to comedy performances.
The Post is a hard-hitting campaigner. In a campaign lately, the paper was uncovering the drug trade in the city and warning of the dangers posed by drugs in any form. Such journalism has won praise from all quarters of society.
Saddest part of it's history was when the Forman Street offices were demolished. The paper moved to purpose-built offices in the south of the city, and the old offices became redundant. The former Post site is now occupied by the Cornerhouse leisure complex.
All in all, the Post is an informative paper which continues to report the news for Nottingham in it's own special way.

As well as being supplied to almost newsagents in the county there are traditional street vendors that sell the Evening Post throughout the city centre. No security guards noticed anything. I had no idea that Nottingham city could be so unsafe for teenage girls. Perhaps the government should take a greater interest. I wont feel safe to carry belongings around again.

Advantages: Good for advertising businesses Disadvantages: Not enough music and too much talk. Might as well be a BBC Radio Station
I listen to radio all the time as I do not watch TV. You would expect to hear music a couple of advert and the hourly news, but not with the New 96 Trent FM. I have now stopped listening to this radio station as all you hear is talking, adverts and the news and out of an hour slot, you will probably hear about 5 songs. Is this really a radio station?
Trent FM have relaunched the radio station twice in the matter of 15 years as it is vital that they get the listeners into the show as they are a Independant Radio Station which are owned by GWR. The last relaunch was in 1995 when they were going on to the streets finding out what people expect from a radio station, and they advertised in The NottinghamEveningPost with questionnaires to fill in and send back to them. They listened to this for about six months as there were about 2 ...
