Being on a diet and not having enough to do don't go together well; I get bored and then the temptation to snack is increased, so when I saw these little strips I thought I would give them a go.
The strips look for all the world like little plastic strips, (they are in fact mad of cellulose, which is, I think, a kind of sugar from plant cells). They are pale green and almost see-through with little brown specks. They are supposed to suppress the appetite and stop you snacking between meals.
The strips come in a little plastic case which closes with a good click meaning they don't fall out and get wasted in your bag/pocket.
To use the strips you simply place one on your tongue and let it dissolve, (don't put one on your tongue if you have a dry mouth). I found that they tended to burn my tongue a little and then turn into goo. They did instantly stop the cravings which is great.
The strip cost £2.99, (at Asda), for 24 strips which I personally think is expensive but they do work so I guess they are worth it.
The strips contain no calories, no fat, no salt, no carbs and no protein; obviously they don't fill you up they just stop you being hungry for a few hours.
I think they are fantastic and I will defiantly continue to buy them. The positives, (nice slim me and no cravings), far outweigh the negatives, (price and burning tongue).
