Switched from Scottish Power to Npower a year ago. Where they get their figures to calculate next years payments is beyond me.. 6 weeks before my contract ends they have informed me my payments are going up from £75 to £177. They have not taken into account my £100 end of year discount and that I have another £75 direct debit to come off as my last payment. I did a quote on the npower site with their own yearly consumption figures, which they themselves provided and the monthly payment is £87 . There online service is appalling to 2 bills in a year and no reply to any email inquiries. I will be looking for another supplier. Would rather pay £30 extra for good service. Its a good job customers check because once they have taken the first payment of £177 pounds it is not reviewed for another 6 months.
