...The Numark CDX is one of the best profesional CD players on the market. their reliability raise some questions but as an over all there great. its the closest you can get to a vinyl turntable the CD player works and looks just like the numark TT direct drive turntable, with 2 start stop buttons and start up speed and break controls and programable pitch controls so you can set it up to feel like almost any turntable you have used before. you can scratch just like on a real turntable with added features to only play a part of the scratch, the forward or backward part. The unit also comes complete with effects built in. the effects range from filter to sonar and are controled with a jog wheel for smooth effect ranges. you can chop, slide, ptich bend, filter and sonar (like phazer)and even play the cd backwards with one touch. along... ...the DXM06 is my favorite Numark mixer. In this nice little 24bit digital mixer, you get everything you would expect from a mixer. there are 2 phono inputs and 3 line/ cd inputs, 2 out puts master and record. Full high, mid, low trim and kill switches topped off with some very nice sound effects. you only get 6 effects but they are all perfect at there job, the 4 main effects are ECHO, Flanger, PHASER and Filter all controled with a slider and turn knob giving you a full range of parimiters to make that mix sound amazing. the mixer looks grat and sounds fantastic i didnt know that a digital mixer would make the vinyl sound better too. this is a very easy to use mixer and would suit most users bigginer or pro... Advantages: Really easy to use and great sound and never skips
Disadvantages: I can't think of any to be honest

...A really good entry level machine for the pub or club DJ or a mobile DJ who wants to test the waters first off without going for expensive kit. This is a dual CD player and mixer all in one all it needs to operate are an amp and speakers - and the ease of use is second to none. Very very robust machine - no matter how vigorous your dancers are - or how bouncy the floor is - (and I have both) - this never EVER skips the cd. Has functions for loop, pitch bending and gives really great control almost the same as a vinyl turntable. Ideal for the beginner and pub DJs - fully recommended and can be picked up on ebay for a good bargain as they have been overtaken by the CD mix 3 which has the ability to play MP3 tracks which this does not....
