I brought two TT1650's recently, second hand, from ebay for around £150. they was working well untill i had a gig, as they was being transported, one of the motors broke in the turntable. I took it to a shop for repair, i was told it was £130 for a new motor! but there only around £109 - £150 for a new turntable! So i didnt buy the new motor, and i will buy a new turntable soon, as i think they are brilliant for the value for money.

For the money, I think, they are great, as they are very easy to mix on, and very nice and stylish. They are the best i have fount on the market for the price as they are direct drive, and have all the features needed for basic mixing, and scratching!! They are also easy to find and purchase, as most DJ/Electrical shops sell them. You can also buy replacable target lights, for around £10-£30 (depending on what shop you go to) by having a replacable target light, this does not mean they break easy! mine have been dropped on the floor, and used very regulary, and there still great!!

The main question everone would ask about any product is, what benifits do i get from having this turntable, and the benifits of these turntables include easy use and peace of mind when in use, as they are constructed with a durable plasic casing. These turntables have a wide pitch control, so it makes beat matching easy but still with the professional sound!

This turntable is not ideal for professional use, as they cant be used for long mixing, and dont come with lids (because of the new style) but which makes the turntable vunrable to damage!

Out of 10, i would give this turntable 7, as improving is needed, to make them more durable. The could also improve the pitch control, and make it more fine, to suit, longer mixes.

I would recommend them for anyone, who wants some cheap direct drive decks, which is just one better than the TT1625 (DJ in a box package)
