...I brought this item 4 months ago and its been brilliant, picks up all dust. The item has been dropped down the stairs and still works after huge punishment. Very reliable! The reason I brought this vacuum cleaner, was because I used to have a simmilar one at work and it took huge punishment and never failed! Its heavy, but the high points far outweigh the low points. Its very simple with the simple one switch system. The one thing you must do, is to fully extend the cable, otherwise the wires will overheat. I've experienced that problem. Disadvantages: no good if you repair vacuums for a living - they don't need repairing!

...The Numatic Henry HVR200 is a superb piece of equipment. I sold and repaired vacuum cleaners for 10 years and throughout this time the Henry remained a market leader. The cleaner itself is so simple - it's basically just a motor over a bucket - but in this simplicity itself lies its strength - it is very, very difficult to break. Unless you pick up a couple of gallons of water with this thing (it's a dry vac only!) you will be very unlikely to ever damage your motor. The ceramic bearing 1000W workhorse of a motor on this just keeps going and going. The tools are of a superb quality (stainless steel and high quality ABS plastic)and the whole thing is very difficult to fault. Even the kids love Henry - because he has a smiley face on the front!... Read review
