-- Reasons for buying --My mum owns a cleaning business, so our house is always full of various different types and makes of cleaning equipment. My mum owns 5 pink 'Hetty' Vacuums. As I thought the house was becoming dominated by Hetty's I managed to persuade her to buy a red 'Henry' vacuum.
-- Henry's gorgeous appearance and what he does --
Henry is bright red, with two big googly eyes on the front of the machine and underneath a smiley mouth. Between his eyes and mouth, is where his long black suction hose lays, which represents his nose, which is appoximately 2.4 metres in length and 32mm in diamtre.
Attached is a 10 metre cable, which enables you to a good sized cleaning range. It is very easy for Henry to realese the cable by either twisting the handle on Henrys head in the opposite direction the arrow is pointing or just by pulling it with your hands. To then retrieve it back inside you twist the handle, in the direction the arrow is pointing. Also displayed on the top is the on and off swtich, which you simply press down.
He is a very lightweight machine at weighing only approximately 7Kg, with a four wheel mobility, this helps you glide him along the floor without much effort.. unless of course your going round corners then he may need a little help! To do this you can use the thick black handle on the top. Once you've been using him for a while, your get to know the tricks of getting him round the corners without having to pick him up.. this is when he becomes a 'man'.
Henry is a high performance and powerful vacuum with a twin-flo professional two-stage 1200W motor (Hi-Lo control) which gives a strong suction power for brilliant results. He is also very reliable with a primary tritex filter system, which makes sure what goes in, doesn't come out. He has a large captivity holding 9 litres, with large micro-flo bags that are clean and very simple and easy to empty.

This little man makes cleaning worth while, the High-Lo control is brilliant for the more tough, dirt treaden areas, all the way to the most delicate surfaces. All the accessories supplied are extremely useful, ensuring that you get the best results no matter whether your cleaning the floor, dusting skirting boards or using a nozzle. All the accessories are specially designed for all of our of possible needs.
His large 9 litre capacity means I only have to empty him about once a month, which is absolutely fantasitc as I have to hoover sometimes multiple times a day due to animal hair and when doing my clients hair from home. When it does come to remove his bags it is very simple and easy to do. You unscrew the lid and disconnect the bag from the inside tube and depending on whether your using disposible and re-usable bags (takes a little longer to empty thoroughly and then place back inside the vacuum), its very quick and takes little effort.
I have been using Henry for about 6 months now and I have fell completely head over heels, he never complains, does an amazing job and does it all with a smile! If i must say the perfect boyfriend any girl could have ;) It's very easy to use, the length of the cable enables you to a large cleaning range and all the different heads and nozzles ensures that your house is cleaned to the very best and top quality.
He is able to clean various different types of floor such as carpets, concrete, hard floor, laminate, lino and wood flooring.
The only negative I found with this is that it can be a little noisy when on the Higher control, which is expected, but as I tend to also listen to music whilst vacuming its tends to down the worse of it out. The lower control on the other hand is a very reasonable noise level and I can still carry and understand a conversation whilst using this control.
I am extremely pleased with this vacuum and couldn't imagine using anything other than Henry. This widely available online and in various electrical stores such as Currys and Comet. I purchased mine from Currys for £99.99, the prices tend to vary between stores and can be anything from £70 to £120. I think the price is very reasonable due to all the included accessories and all the different uses this provides.
