Upon purchasing the hoover we opened up the box and got everything setup so we were ready to go and took a quick read to see if anything we needed to know and were impressed with what we read - made in the UK, energy saving set as standard usage for this vacuum but ... ...test it so we plugged this in (as silly as it sounds even the cable was well designed as it has a handle on the top so you can wind the cable back in quickly and easily) and flicked the switch to find a pleasant surprise in how quiet the hoover was on its energy saving standard setting. Upon purchasing the hoover we opened up the box and got everything setup so we were ready to go and took a quick read to see if anything we needed to know and were impressed with what we read - made in the UK, energy saving set as standard usage for this vacuum but we realised that reading this was never the way to test it so we plugged this in (as silly as it sounds even the cable was well designed as it has a handle on the top so you can wind the cable back in quickly and easily) and flicked the switch to find a pleasant surprise in how quiet the hoover was on its energy saving standard setting. I flicked the switch to test the high power setting and although the noise went up in volume the carpet also came up as this is truly so much suction power (live in rented property where carpets not put in brilliantly but the old hoover never did this). The hoover is easily able to be moved around thanks to the wheels at the back for forwards and backwards movement whilst the front wheels are the ones that swivel to allow you freedom of movement. The hose is well put together and this whole package feels well made whilst not being heavy or cumbersome. Overall this is an excellent piece of kit that is fantastic value for money and makes your cleaning a lot easier not to mention deeper clean.

Well this is typically the female version of the Henry hoover named Hetty (Henry's sister) and comes in a vibrant pink colour. Personally pink is not my favourite colour.
I think this is quite possibly the worst hoover I have ever had the misfortune to use. My mum replaced her Dyson with one of these and it was the worst decision she ever made. The suction on it is awful and it's just far too clumsy to use. It's bulky and difficult to store with ... ...The Hoover itself has a variable power setting for Lo suction and Hi suction levels, weighing in at 6.6kgs and has 1200watt motor power. The reach of the hose is 2M and it has a cable length of 10M, this allows you to cover a larger area before having to change power sockets.
Who wants to continually have to disassemble their hoover and then reassemble the next time it needs to be used which is probably the most convenient option for storage. There ...

Advantages: Keeps cleaning - never looses suction. Disadvantages: Quite big to store.

I have tried a Dyson and it was fantastic for all of a month then just sucked up nothing. I cleaned it numerous times and had it apart on the floor and had it repaired numerous times, so I decided it was time to change it for something else. At £100 it was a bit cheaper than a new Dyson and some other hoovers on the market that i'd never even heard off. I was first recommended to use her by a friend a few years ago who had owned hers without any problems for 15 years. I went for a cheap hoover - powerbase xtreme - instead and learnt that it was a bad idea!
I was recommened by a seperate friend later on, who had owned hers for just over 10 years. I went out to buy her, and never looked back!
She has a energy saving low power option which I use all the time - there is no need to use high power. ... ...change and the bag holds approx 9 litres of dust.
She has 4 different heads - great for differnt types of flooring!
She has a very long lead, I only need to plug her in at one point and she does my whole flat! Cons:
A little noisy, but given all of the good points, I think she's the best for anyone on a budget!
I haven't had a problem yet. ...

Advantages: Solid Build, Powerful and Long Lead Disadvantages: Umm, It's pink.......but I knew that when i bought it
...before having to unplug it! Numatic claim the cleaning range is 31.8m and I'd say that's pretty accurate! The hose is 2.4 metres long. It has a pretty powerful 1200w motor. It's not hugely noisy either. It holds a fair bit of muck too between empties with a 9-litre capacity. And comes with the manufacturer's 2-year warranty. Overall, to date it's the best vacuum I've owned ...

Quick review of Numatic Hetty
I received this hoover as a gift and think it is incredibly cute! Something different from your every day hoover.
I find that this hoover has very good suction and I find it really easy to empty and change the bags.
I find that most of the attachments are good in theory but I have a really hard time getting some of the to stay together and get suction. They start to come apart as I hoover. ...

There are other Numatic models including a wet and dry version, and "extra" version, a turbo version, one with an Airo pet hair brush option, a total all-in-one with carpet cleaning?.they even have different names - there's George, James, Charles and now even a Hetty!
Numatic has a great website where you can meet the family and see which one might suit your lifestyle!

So, if your vacuum cleaner breaks down and you want something reliable, that does what it says on the can and that even cleaners recommend, go get a Henry (or one of his brothers)!
