Numatic Hetty

Advantages: Suction is brilliant.

.... . . This review is on the very robust Henry Numatic model HVR 200. You will know it as soon as you see it as it has a smiley face, and comes in four colours, red green blue & yellow, well now they have added another to the range - PINK!!! Technically this one is called HETTY, but it is identical otherwise. The shape is cylindrical, but not laid down, it is upright, like an oil drum, and has a buffer ring surrounding it, which does not mark walls. It is mounted on castors, and so is easy to move about. As for the suction, I can only say it is brilliant, the cable is wound up neatly in it's own drum, all tools are there, the machine itself is light enough to be carried up the stairs, what more could you want in a cleaner? Advantages: An all round good performer, cheap and reliable.

...Numatic models including a wet and dry version, and "extra" version, a turbo version, one with an Airo pet hair brush option, a total all-in-one with carpet cleaning….they even have different names - there's George, James, Charles and now even a Hetty! So, if your vacuum cleaner breaks down and you want something reliable, that does what it says on the can and that even cleaners recommend, go get a Henry (or one of his brothers)! Advantages: Very powerfull

...I brought this item 4 months ago and its been brilliant, picks up all dust. The item has been dropped down the stairs and still works after huge punishment. Very reliable! The reason I brought this vacuum cleaner, was because I used to have a simmilar one at work and it took huge punishment and never failed! Its heavy, but the high points far outweigh the low points. Its very simple with the simple one switch system. The one thing you must do, is to fully extend the cable, otherwise the wires will overheat. I've experienced that problem.
