The story
======================================
This is my first review, so I'll try to be as exact as possible.Please excuse my bad English as I'm German !
I work for a company in Germany with an english boss.
We sell all sorts of cleaning products, but our main concern is to make Numatic more known in Germany.
The product
======================================
Very helpful is the small hoover "JVH - 180" also called James by Numatic.
As the germans are very stingy, a real good, but expensive vac cleaner like a Henry is far too expensive !
The JVH - 180 has the same motor power as the Henry.1100 W is sufficient even for industry - like customers.
We mainly sell to cleaning companies.And they never managed to break one yet !
Technical Facts
======================================
The weight in total with (!) tubes and hose is around five kilos.Mainly because the tubes are made of aluminium.
The hoover can be used with or without filter bag.
The hose is 2,5 metres long which is always sufficient
The motor sucks around 1900 litres of air per minute.
Personal experience
======================================
The James is really worth it's money(around 80 quit) .
I am using it myself in my house.
Cause of the light weight it is really a very good manageable hoover.I don't even mind taking it up the stairs.
I personally can't recommend using it without a filter bag because the power fades very soon, as the filter cloth is full of dirt.
And the "life span" of the James gets reduced a lot through not having a bag in.
A terrible thing is that you don't have a automatic cable rewind.
So you always have to get the cable sorted out, or you will end up in a mess !
But normally you'll never have trouble with James.
The power is exceptional good.
Very practical as well, that you can get all sorts of different stuff like air power nozzles or longer hoses and so on.
So you can upgrade the James if you want.
My conclusion
======================================
For a normal household the best hoover you can get.
But I have to rate one star less because of the not existing cable rewind.
Still a very recommendable hoover for private use with a life span of average about ten years.
