Advantages: very lightweight handy and strong vac cleaner Disadvantages: no automatic cable rewind
...The story
This is my first review, so I'll try to be as exact as possible. Please excuse my bad English as I'm German !
I work for a company in Germany with an english boss.
We sell all sorts of cleaning products, but our main concern is to make Numatic more known in Germany.
The product
Very helpful is the small hoover "JVH - 180" also called James by Numatic.
As the germans are very stingy, a real good, but expensive vac cleaner like a Henry is far too expensive !
The JVH - 180 has the same motor power as the Henry.1100 W is sufficient even for industry - like customers.

Advantages: Powerful, long power cable, lightweight, plenty of accessories. Disadvantages: Can't think of any!
...A powerful, easy to use, easy to empty vacuum cleaner. A+++

Henry was easy to set-up, has a fantastic cable rewind system (no springs or catches...

Advantages: A simple, bombproof, highly efficient, and lovable piece of engineering. Disadvantages: Plastic hoses, no on-board stowage of accessories.
...As a retired dog owning batchelor cleaning is not my priority in life but removing long white German Shepherd hairs from every square inch of my flat is an ongoing nightmare that just has to be addressed.
I borrowed a few vacuum cleaners to see if they would cope including a Dyson which, as an engineer, I thought was a brilliant but over complex concept. It also seemed to have the longevity of a take away container.
Eventually having tried a Numatic Henry wet 'n dry which had great "suck" but no powered head I took the plunge and ordered a "Henry Hound". On arrival, and with some trepidation, I unpacked it, connected the hoses etc, put on the 24v power head [which was quite heavy] and pressed the button.
My "test" lasted half an hour by which time every corner of the flat was devoid of dog hairs, dust, and even chewed wood...

I've seen George and his smaller brothers ~ James with a yellow face; Henry often red; Charles in blue ~ in various places; all are cheerful and all of them work hard. I've never known one fail to complete a task, and I've seen them smile their way... more
