Some time ago I bought a very old ex-industrial Henry (from a professional cleaning firm) for use at my business premises. Although tatty on the outside, this machine impressed me enough to ensure that I bought a Henry for my domestic use. The Which report on reliability reinforced this decision as it was one of the most reliable cleaners in their tests.
Even my husband likes using Henry - although I am a bit worried as he does ay "Come along Henry" as he pulls "him" around.
Seriously though I cannot praise these cleaners enough being light to pull around, efficient, quiet (as vacuums go) and do not seem to lose suction even if the very large bag is getting full. Being fairly compact they are easy to store and the smiley face does seem to encourage the friendly feeling that Henry is your friend helping with the chores. The design seems quite simple eg. you wind in the cable with a handle which means there is less to go wrong. I suspect that it is the simplicity of good design plus good build quality that makes Henry one of the most reliable machines around. DYSON - EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!!!
Absolutely the best.

Welcome to Ciao. I have a Henry & the thing I dislike most about it is fitting a new bag, quite tricky. Also all Henry's seem to have the same foul smell about them. Good start. Vicki x
