I always find with painkillers, it is best to spend more and get a brand that is well known and fast acting which is why I purchased these Nurofen Liquid Capsules. Normally, I go for the caplet version of these but I couldn't get hold of them when I was in my pharmacy but being Nurofen and the box stating that they 'Target Pain Fast' I thought these seemed like a good alternative. They come in a box that holds 16 liquid caps which is about normal. These tablests are one of the most well known pain killer tablets on the market. Nurofen Brand have many tablets available from standard Ibuprofen, to Migrane Relief to Express tablets. These particular tablets are the liquid capsule version. The box I have slightly difer in that they are the same but the 'express' version. There are 20 liquid capsules per box. They contain 200mg of Ibuprofen per tablet and cost £3.99 from Boots. The only difference between these tablets and standard Ibuprofen is the brand name and a few ingredients. I am currently sat here feeling pretty sorry for myself having just returned from the A&E with my arm in plaster. I managed to break my wrist yesterday and they are operating on it on Wednesday. In the meantime I am here at home suffering the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. The Hospital did give me some Pain Killers and an injection in my wrist but within an hour or so the temporary relief from these soon begins to wear off.
