Advantages Handy for on the move, no need for water, no difficult tablets to swallow.

Disadvantages Bitter lemon flavouring is a little thirst inducing.

The product

'Tablets' designed to be taken on the go, without water. They dissolve allowing you to get the benefits of the pain relief without having to swallow a tablet. These are designed to relieve symptoms of head aches, back pain, period pain, muscular pain, cold & flu symptoms, dental pain, fever and migraines.

How to use them

Place one of these large discs on to your tongue and wait for it to dissolve. Once it is dissolving it becomes paste like and you can just swallow it easily, without water, unlike a tablet.

Do they work?

For me, yes. I found that the tablets dissolve, as stated, in just a moment or two and it's very simple to swallow them without any water. There is a fairly strong lemon taste, it's not particularly nice, so they are definitely as described on the box.

Dosage guidelines

Adults and children 12 and over take 2 tablets initially then when needed 1 or 2 more tablets every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours. These are not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Where can I buy them and for how much?

These can be purchased from Tesco.co.uk, among other websites and supermarkets, with 12 tablets costing £2.47. These tablets are effectively just ibuprofen with some sweeteners for they are quite expensive compared to standard value ibuprofen.

Overall opinion

These tablets are handy, very handy. The price makes them a little expensive but then sometimes you pay for the convenience of a product rather than what's in it. For under £2.50 I can ensure that I always have pain relief on the go, whether out walking, on the tube or stuck at work I can take a tablet, whenever I need to, without water or fluids.

These tablets dissolve fast, they DO taste like lemon, however, I find the flavour to be a little over the top and can be quite bitter. I usually end up feeling a little like I need a drink after having 1 or 2 of these tablets just to take away the aftertaste that is left in my mouth. These tablets ARE easy to use without water, which is how they are advertised.

I found that within about 20 minutes my head ache was starting to subside for the first time in many hours, within an hour my head ache had gone completely and did not return that day. There was no need for me to use these tablets more than once a day on any of the occasions that I've needed to use them.

I have mainly been using these for when I am out on the road or away from home and don't necessarily have access to an immediate drink when I want pain relief. They have worked very well and I feel reassured that I can always get some relief when one of my headaches strikes.

The only downside to these tablets, for me, is the bitter lemon taste which does seem to make me want a drink, this obviously makes these tablets a little bit counter productive as it makes you need something they are designed to alleviate the need for! I would definitely buy these again, as I have since my first purchase, as they are very handy for on the move (As I've already said) as well as for dishing out to other people who may be complaining that they are not feeling very well and need to cut the night short (no excuses now!). As with any tablets they should be used in moderation and one packet of these, in my handbag, probably lasts a couple of months but as I've had a few teeth problems and lots of head aches recently I seem to be using them more and more. I think the price is a little expensive but at least they work which makes them totally worth every penny! I give these 4/5 and the only star knocked off is because of the bitter lemon taste.

Summary: A fantastic melting pain reliever.
