Zzzzzzz.....
Advantages: Adjustable height, maneuverable, nightlight, change mat, vibrating mattress. Disadvantages: Awful music!
My parents bought a Graco Contour Electra travel cot (bit of a mouthful I know!) to keep at their house for those times when my little monkey became too much of a handful & had to be sent off to Grandma's for a reprieve for mummy... I was shocked that they had spent so much money (£100) on something that would only be used infrequently - I fully expected them to buy something basic instead. However, now that the cot has actually been used a few times ... ...cost was well worth it. This cot is perfect for my parents since they are (quite!) old & not as flexible as they used to be. The mattress can be used in 2 height positions, so that whilst my son is a baby, they don't have to over-stretch to lift him in & out. Also, there is a sturdy changing mat which straddles the cot, allowing them to carry out nappy changes at a comfortable height. The mat is well padded & wipe clean, & has a safety strap which ...

Travelling compactly
Advantages: Folds up compactly, bright colours, use as a cot or play pen Disadvantages: Thin mattress base
...and when she saw the Graco compact she decided that was the one, she loved that it was nice and bright and thought my son would enjoy playing in there as well as sleeping. We ordered it from Kiddicare but unfortunately they have stopped selling it. I have since seen it on Amazon, Halfords and Ebay though for roughly the same prices. ~*~*~FEATURES~*~*~

Choo! Choo! - All Aboard For a Good Nights Sleep!
Advantages: Easy to Inflate Disadvantages: The sleeping bag is attached to the bed
...couple of years ago when my son was a year old we were having problems getting him to sleep in a bed. He had a really nice cot bed but he would scream and scream until the only way we could get him to sleep was in his buggy. Now this obviously was not very ideal especially as he is quite a tall child and after months and months of him refusing to sleep in a bed we decided to look around for something different. So one day I happened to notice a Thomas ... ...Well from day 1 my son loved this bed and the best thing of all we all got some sleep! He slept in the ready bed for 6 months until christmas last year when his grandparents and uncles clubbed together to buy him a proper Thomas bed which is what he is in now. We did find that he needed a pillow to give him just a little bit more comfort. The only thing I don`t like about the bed is the sleeping bag is fixed to the bed, my son never liked sleeping ...

==Stokke Sleepi fantastic stylish cotbed solution==
Advantages: Easy to move, Easy to build, Easy to adjust, converts to furniture when no longer needed as a bed Disadvantages: slightly more expensive
From my point of view, this cotbed has been fantastic for both my children. It is quite expensive, but I would say worth it as the quality/build of the product is excellent. It looks great, works well and can be converted into 2 chairs when you no longer need it as a cot. I found it really easy to assemble and adjust. It has two matress heights. The lower mattress position is great because the sides are high and very difficult to climb out of. My ... ...2 1/2yrs old. She loved it! My second daughter loves it too. You can upgrade to the cotbed to make the cot last even longer, this looks like a great option if it suits your circumstances. You can buy fitted sheets from Stokke, but I found ordinary flat sheets work fine. I would recommend this cot to anyone. ...

Cosatto Hogarth Cot bed
Advantages: Sturdy stunning design Disadvantages: drop side dictated by design
I bought the Cosatto Hogarth cot bed as after searching for months to find a good looking cot bed in cream to go in a neutral nursery it stood out from the rest.
It comes in 3 colours cream, country pine and walnut.
It has a really chunky , sturdy design and I was really pleased to find a cot bed with a drop down side as most have fixed sides.
It is simple to build but definatley a 2 person job !!!
It has 3 mattress height positions, drop side, ...
