Although apparently sprung matteresses can interfere with the baby monitor if you have a baby sensor pad underneath it, this was not a problem to me because I don't have that device. Prices appeared to start quite low for tiny crib matteresses at about £20 but for a large cotbed, you might have to fork out about 100 quid if you want a spring interior and the coolmax cover. ...
