Well this is my first ever wireless bluetooth headset. It came free with my upgrade to a Samsung S400i on O2. Never having had a bluetooth headset before I couldn't wait to try it out.
On first looks, the box was pretty cool, modern and funky and the headset was displayed in the top with all the chargers and manuals in the bottom section. Setup with my phone was easy. Simply turn on bluetooth on the phone then hold the "talk" button for 7 seconds and it will make a link to the phone. From then on all you have to do is turn the ehadset on and as long as bluetooth is on then they will make a connection.
What it came with:
A mains charger In car charger Carry cas Neck strap Instruction manual.
Realisitcally I don't think I'd ever use the case or neck strap, it's just not practical. The headset is likely to remain in my car for when I'm making long journeys. It doesn't take long to charge through either the mains or the in car adaptor provided. The capacity of talk time or standby is also very good - up to 10 hours talktime or 450 hours standby. I'd say those figures were about right from what I've used so far.
The fit of the device is very comfortable. The ear hook moves so you can wear it on either ear and also allows you to fit the headset comfortably without having to remove your ear. I would say that the looks of the ehadset are definitely modern as you can see from the pictures. It has a flashing light for the talk button which looks pretty cool. Wearing the headset for a long amount of time can get annoying after a while, the same as anything including headphones but is definitely better than holding a phone to your ear for hours.
The functionality of the device is great. The volume buttons are well positioned and allow you to select a contact from your recently called numbers and ring them. Unfortunately my phone doesn't have voice activation otherwise that would have been even better. The volume of the headset is very good. I always have my phone on full volume but have to turn it down if I'm using the headset as it's very loud, probably because the sound is going directly into your ear. It did shock me the first time I used it.
The only bad point I have is the sound quality. It is slightly harder to hear people through this than directly through a phone. However, this may just be because I'm not use to it. It is getting easier for me to use it now and understanding people is becoming more acceptable.
Therefore if you are on the lookout for a new wireless headset I fully recommend this one. Unfortunately I have nothing to compare it to, but for me it seems great and good value for money considering it came free with a phone!

Advantages: MP3 Player, 2 megapixel camera with flash, Word PDF & Rich text viewer, amazingly clear reception, Disadvantages: Not 3G (although many would see that as an advantage!)
