Proporta really are a cut above the rest when it comes to producing screen protectors. ... more
Well, we have come across a few in our time. And, these are the best - and you can wash them. The ultra high-clarity plastic that they're manufactured from protects your screen like a dream, and we've even been able to increase the thickness without impairing screen brightness or clarity. Proporta realise that sometimes applying screen protectors can be a bit fiddly, so each kit contains a screen cleaning cloth and an application card to make perfect-fitting quick and easy.*Image for demonstration purposes only

Advantages: Reliable, 3G and Wireless with office package and outlook sync Disadvantages: Thirsty processor reduces battery life to about 2 days.
Where do I start? I bought the trion as an upgrade to replace my O2XDA Mini S. Let me begin by describing the cons of the device:
1) At 2.0 Megapixels the camera is woefully inadequate
2) Whilst Running Windows Mobile 6.0, I am still unable to view online video, like BBC news broadcasts or youtube
3) With all functions running (bluetooth wireless etc) the battery lasts about 48hrs maximum.
4) I have noticed the occasional 'slowdown' as a result of running several programmes at once.
5) The on/standyby button seems to have a mind of its own as to how long you need to hold it down before the screen lights up.
But enough of all this negativity. In comparison to my mini s it is very much the next generation. For starters it features a 400MHz processor and I am old enough to remember high spec laptops having a similar speed ...

Advantages: Good screen Disadvantages: pricy although can be bought second hand for cheaper
The xda comes in a box that can comfortably fit a small pair of boots. However, the actual device is a more reasonable 13cm long and 7.3cm wide, with most of the box taken up by accessories.
Accessories include a charger, which also provides USB PC connectivity, a leather pouch and belt clip, spare stylus, earphones, a couple of manuals and a CD containing Active Sync.
For the technically minded, the xda includes an Intel StrongARM 32-bit processor at 206 MHz, which puts it at the lower end of Pocket PC PDAs.
The touch-screen of the xda runs at a relatively standard 240 x 320 resolution, with 4,096 colours. Most of the buttons are found on the screen, for instance when dialling you press a screen-displayed keypad. The stylus is stored in the aerial.
Above the screen are two hotkeys to "contacts" and "calendar", although these ...

Advantages: Phone, e-mail, sms, internet capable Pocket PC Disadvantages: Needs reloading completely when it loses its charge
Firstly I love this pocket PC. It's supplied by work so it has all of the bells and whistles and I don't have to pay a thing (a definate bonus). That said I don't know what anything costs for it.
The main disadvantage is that the battery only lasts three days if you don't use it. Admittedly you can turn flight mode on to lengthen the battery time (you can't actually turn the XDA off) but that means that you lose the messaging, e-mail and phone facilities until you turn flight mode off. If the main battery gets down to 15% (I think) then it stops you being able to turn the screen on (the main battery drain) and if the main battery goes down to 0% you've got about half-an-hour to get it on charge before everything gets wiped. This means that it has to be resyncronized with your computer and all of the software and files reloaded. It ...
