I have had pre pay mobiles for the last seven years. Mainly because I know how much I'm spending, and when it's gone I can't get into debt with it………… Lord knows what I would be like with a contract!

I have been on many different networks, including Orange, T-Mobile and Virgin. And thus far I have found 02 to be the best network.

Here are my reasons why -

O2 offer reasonable tariffs, and have lots of offers.
You can take advantage of every offer which does not cancel out any of the previous offers you already have on your account.
The offers they have and the information on how to get them a printed further on in this review.

O2's signal have always been very good where ever I have been, I have even used it in Spain without a problem. But obviously there are some place's that other networks do have a better signal.

They also send you an on screen message after every phone call or txt you have made, which shows you your remaining balance, which with other networks you would have to phone a number for this information.

02 also sends you updates on new offers by text to your phone, so be sure to take advantage of all of them.

I am really impressed with the network, and I wouldn't dream of changing it too another. I like the fact that I know what I am spending, and I also like the fact that it gives pre-pay users just as many offers that contract users receive.

*****Here's the information on offers that I have accepted on my pay as you go network with O2-

O2 rewards - This scheme gives you 10% back on all your top-ups every month. It's a kind of loyalty reward for how much you spend on your phone.
For example, if you were too spend £30.00 a month on your top-ups, within three months from when you took up the offer you will receive £9.00 credit which is automatically put onto your remaining credit.
Since I accepted this offer, the reward has always been there on time, and has never let me down thus far.

To take advantage of this FREE offer, all you have to do is txt REWARD to 50202, and you will then receive a txt confirming your request.
Plus you can always check your reward balance to find out how much you have earned so far by txting BALANCE to 50202.

02 TREATS - This is the newest offer from O2. If you have been a customer with 02 for 6 months or more, you can take advantage of their one off treats every single month.
You can have either free voicemail retrieval, free minutes or free texts.
This is a free offer for customers which have been with them for more than a 6 month period. To take advantage of this offer, just call free on 2211.

O2 TALKALOTMORE- For people who use their pay as you go mobiles a lot for calls, this is for you. This scheme lets you have up to 300 off peak minutes depending on how much you top your phone up per month.
Too take advantage of this offer, you need too top up your phone once a month with a minimal of £15.00, which will let you receive 150 off peak minutes. But if you spend £30.00 a month, you will receive 300 off-peak minutes.
All you have to do is txt MORE to 21300, which is a free txt, and they will complete the request for you.

Sims - Also there are Sims available that let you have 300 free texts, or 300 free minutes, or a combination of both every month. They are commonly known as 'genie Sims', which you can purchase from O2, or find them on E-bay and some phone stores.
As long as you top up a minimal of £10.00 each month, you can take advantage of this offer, and carry on taking advantage as long as you keep toping up £10.00 once a month on the date you first used it.
Full instructions on how you use this sim will come with the sim card once you purchase them.

Other offers - You can also take advantage of other offers if you choose to top up by direct debit once a month, or have an online account with them. Both of which is done through their own website which is printed below.

MY ADVICE -

Take advantage of all these offers, because it does not cost you anything, and you will find it very beneficial.
So far I have found that all the offers can be used in-conjunction with each other, so I only spend £30.00 a month on my pay as you go, and I get all of these offers.
I never stop calling or txting, and I never seem too use up the credit I have actually put on, I only use the free offers up.
I actually can not remember the last time I ran out of credit on my phone!

If you want too find out more about tariffs and offers you can always visit O2's official website, www.o2.co.uk .

The only disadvantages I have found with the O2 network is voicemail retrieval. On other networks, this is free, but with O2 they charge (although only 5-10 pence) for receiving your voicemails.
Also the offers stated above does not seem too apply when I have been abroad.

Overall though I still think O2 is better in comparison with other networks.

I hope this review has been of some help.

Thanks for reading. Dempsey
