Disadvantages: A bit slow, Network install of printer doesnt always work

...impressed with them, however this one has changed my opinion. The printer, scanning and faxing is extremely east to do on the device and the setup was also simple. This device is also lowest priced colour laser multifunction printer. My only slight concerns are that if this printer is used in an office environment then it may suffer with speed issues. Advantages: Reasonably quick scanner, excellent photo prints, easy operation, scans negatives
Disadvantages: black and white photos have a greenish hue, more expensive to run than most Epsons

The RX500's control panel is easy to navigate and the LCD display, which displays the various options available in each of the device's four modes of operation (Scan, Copy, Memory Card and Setup), is easy to use - although it isn't backlit, which can be a problem in poor lighting. The Ink Cartridges ------------------------- It uses six individual ink cartridges, one for each colour. The one drawback I can see with the design is that the black cartridge is the same capacity as each of the other five cartridges. Epson have clearly marketed this MFP as an all-in-one photo studio. It's not the kind of device you will want to use for general printing due to the lack of capacity in the black. Cartridges are also not exactly cheap.
