In Windows setup couldn't be easier, as it is just to plug in the network plug of the PC and printer in a hub and run the driver software (I suppose it's even easier with the USB-connection).

Have owned this printer for a few months now and is not disappointed. It makes very nice prints, is quite customizable and is not as noicy as many other color laser printers.
I have access to a HP Lasterjet 2550n, which it beats in more than one way. The colors of the OKI prints are of course not what you see on your screen. That means that you have to get used to the printer, to learn which colors it will spit out. I suppose that is perfectly normal for a printer in this class. And one has to remember this is NOT a photoprinter - appearently bubblejets have overtaken this segment when it comes to quality.
What do you need to know, if you want to buy this thing? Well. The prints are quite nice - can be a bit dark, but that is of course adjustable. The print is 'shiny' which I have not seen on laser printers (this is a LED-printer - I don't know the exact difference). In Windows setup couldn't be easier, as it is just to plug in the network plug of the PC and printer in a hub and run the driver software (I suppose it's even easier with the USB-connection). Like any other laser printer it takes time to warm up before the first print, but when it is warm it does actually more than 12 ppm.
The cons must be said to be the size. The picture above might cheat you, as it is longer than it looks (make sure you have the measurements before you buy :-) ). It is said in the manual that it needs air around it. It weights just about 30 kg ~ 60lb!
But after it has been installed, it is just nice to work with!
Summing up I must say it must be perfect for the small office/home office (SOHO). It has network, is cheap - and new LEDs (or whatever toner is called) can be found at international auction sites at prices around £110 - including shipment - for a complete set of colors and black! I have not seen anything getting near this in price. So get this if you want it cheap and in a good quality. If you don't have the space I'd say the HP 2550 would be a good alternative (as it is physically smaller - but does not print as nicely).
