The success of any business ultimately comes down to controlling costs. That includes providing each workgroup with the tools they need to streamline workflow and increase productivity. Which is precisely why OKI has developed the OKIPAGE 24DX Series of network printers, equipped with standard features designed to enhance the production of the entire workgroup. Their high-speed engine (boosted by the powerful R4700, 120 MHz microprocessor) delivers legendary OKI reliability and true 600-dpi quality at a super-fast 24 pages per minute. The OKIPAGE 20's optional duplexer enhances your speed and efficiency even more by enabling you to print both sides of a sheet - saving time, cost and natural resources and Digital LED technology allows you to print on both sides of a sheet at full-engine speed (12 pages per minute, 2-sided, so you still get 24 impressions per minute)! The OKIPAGE 24DX features 16 MB of memory standard, so it can handle even complex and graphics-intensive documents. You can also plug in additional memory, up to 80 MB worth. OKI has a broad range of experience in supporting the networking capabilities of its printers. OKIPAGE 24DX features OKILAN internal print server, that enables the high-volume performance and reliability of the OKIPAGE 24DX Series in a wide variety of network environments. This printer comes with OKIVIEW 32 print server configuration software - a powerful and efficient configuration and management tool that lets network managers take full advantage of networked printers. In a word, OKIPAGE 24DX is unique possible answer for multi-user environmental.
Advantages: Quite cheap to run with ok output Disadvantages: Not suited for heavy work
...RRP: £149.
One sector of the printing market that Oki covers arguably better than anyone else is the entry-level page printer, with the OkiPage 8W Lite being a good example. This is an LED printer, rather than a laser printer. The difference to the end-user is pretty much irrelevant, though; to all intents and purposes this unit operates just like a laser, with separate toner cartridge and fuser drum.
With a top resolution of 600pi, the OkiPage 8W Lite is quoted as having a maximum print speed of 8 pages per minute. Inevitably, though, it only achieves this in low resolution mode, with limited text on the page.
This is not a machine designed for a particularly high duty cycle. The toner cartridge is good for around 1,500 pages of A4 at 5% density, while the drum unit will last for around 10,000 pages. With a printer life of 30...

Advantages: Compact, easy to use, excellent price, printing in DOS and Windows, high speed Disadvantages: Prints need more contrast and sharpness, none 600 dpi (smoothing), short life of toner cartridge
...of set-up of parameters of printing under DOS.
Quality of prints was enough good. Okidata Okipage 8w not bad has printing the text. The truth, printing with optimum quality the numerals looks greasier, than on remaining listings. That results to merge of numerals in the small-sized text. Besides on them the poorly expressed nonuniformity of fill of homogeneous areas is appreciable. Graphics prints were received some dark and insufficiently contrast. The limited amount of reproduced halftones inevitably attracts gradualness on gradient flood fillings.
At present LED technology yet can not on equal compete with laser in the field of quality of received images. Analyzing test prints, I came to a conclusion, that the actual resolution of this printer actually is equal 300 dpi, and for higher resolution the special technology of smoothing is...

...The Oki C3200 lazer printer was great value purchase. i got mine for £160 which for a lazer printer full of toner is actually quite cheap.
the printer its self is quite big and can only do up to A4. it also weights a bit so pick a spot where it will live because you wont ever feel like moving it.
Using 4 color toner cartridiges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black.) the printer preduces great quality prints, thats once it warms, takes about 2mins in my experience. once it does warm up it just spits out the pages one after another almost no pause between pages, it seems to take less than 2 seconds per page.
For the size of this printer i was suprised that it only holds 500 sheets of paper which means regular trips back to it.
the upkeep can work out expencive depending on how much you use it toner prices start at £24 for 1,500 page...
