I have been using the Oki toner cartridges for apporximately 12 months. In my opinion the quality is fantastic, clear and precise. When a notice pops up telling me to replace the cartridge it can be ignored for quite a considerable time, even when running low on certain colours I have still found that the quality is good. When the time comes that the colour reproduction is not good enough then as long it is not for an important document I have found that by just simply removing the cartridge, shaking it about a bit and replacing it, it can bring the colour back to life and will add extra life to it.On the whole I feel it produces professional print quality. I think it is an expensive item but have not compared the longevity against an alternative product. ...

Ok cards on the table time. I have a real thing about Oki printers, they are well made, solid reliable printers, but the main bonus is there print quality, it really is first class.
If you are looking for a quality print at a reasonable cost Oki is the place to start, and the Oki C 5650n is no exception.
This printer is a good workgroup printer, it is network ready, however a duplex would be nice.
The Oki C 5650n would be the Rolls-Royce of home printers, more than enough for a small or medium office.
In a larger office I would keep it for those special prints where you want to impress someone.
I would recommend the Oki C 5650n to anyone looking, if your not sure go and get one demostrated, I think you'll be impressed. ...

I believe that most OKI microline printers are used for business purposes, as are most other dot matrix printers. The microline can be seen in Airports and Hotels all around the country. I have used them in a business capacity for several years and always found them to be outstandingly reliable. I have now been fortunate enough to pick one up for home use. It is second hand with quite a few miles on the clock but is ideal for my uses since I send out a lot of letters and type up reports etc. for my college course. Make no mistake, dot matrix printers are for text only, don't even consider printing graphics on one - it just looks crap. But as a text-only printer the Microline 520 is very hard to beat.
